Are you a conservative?
Are you a conservative? You might be if you believe any of the things on this list. Read on and see.

1: You might be a conservative if you’re irate over the president taking so many vacation days on the taxpayer’s dime (61 thus far), but you thought George W. Bush earned every minute of his leisure time (196 days at the same point in his presidency).

2: You’re happy with your 40 hour work week, paid vacations and company-provided healthcare, but you’re strongly anti-union, because those commies haven’t done anything for you lately.

3: You might be a conservative if you strongly support the First Amendment and its guarantee of religious freedom to all, but you don’t think Muslims have a right to build an Islamic Community Center in Manhattan.

4: You believe Ronald Reagan was a devout Christian, even though he hated going to church, but any president who spends twenty years going to the same Trinity United Church in Chicago must be a Muslim.

5: You might be a conservative if you believe that when a Republican governor creates a healthcare package with an individual mandate for everyone in his state, that’s a good idea. But when a Democratic president does it, suddenly it’s unconstitutional.
6: You’re so enthused about demonstrating your Second Amendment rights, you can think of no finer place to brandish your pistol in public than at a presidential rally.

7: You might be a conservative if you believe Bill Clinton was responsible for Osama bin Laden’s escape ten years ago, but thankfully George W. Bush caught up with him and killed him in Pakistan.

8: You believe in putting American jobs first, except when president Obama rescued 1.5 million GM and Chrysler autoworkers, because that was socialism.

9: You might be a conservative if it angers you that you can’t communicate with the Mexican busboy at your local Olive Garden, but when you took a vacation to San Francisco’s Chinatown, you thought it’s quaint that so many Chinese-Americans are holding fast to their traditional language. Because that’s America!

10: You deny that the lunatic who tried to murder Gaby Giffords was a conservative, even though he targeted a Jewish, pro-choice, pro gay rights, Democratic Congresswoman.

11: You You might be a conservative if you thought it was perfectly normal that every president in history had an untethered right to raise the debt ceiling when warranted, but when Obama asked the GOP held congress to do it, you thought it only natural that it be tied to cutting Social Security and Medicare.

12: When the new 112th Congress was sworn in, you swooned as they promised to focus on “Jobs, jobs, jobs.” But when they pivoted, and went after NPR, Planned Parenthood and gay rights, you cheered.

13: You might be a conservative if you accuse president Obama of raising your taxes to the highest point ever, even though they’re lower today than at any time since 1950.
14: You believe the wealthiest Americans are “job creators,” and they are — but it doesn’t bother you that all the workers in those positions are in India, China and Malaysia, and they’re doing the jobs that our fathers once did.

15: You might be a conservative if you believe gays are anti-American, because their lifestyle is a threat to the children… unless they’re married to Tea Party-backed presidential candidates from Minnesota.

16: You strongly defend individual freedom, but that freedom doesn’t include a woman’s right to decide her own healthcare needs.

17: You might be a conservative if you believe corporations are people too, and are deserving of the same rights as the rest of us. Just not the same obligations to pay personal income tax free of corporate loopholes, or penalties for massive criminal behavior and tax evasion. In these matters, corporations are deserving of special rights.

18: And since corporations are now people too, you must believe in their right to a driver’s license, the right to marry, to adopt children, etc. These rights shall not be denied to Exxon, Halliburton and BP (but still immune from the right of the People to try, convict and sentence to death any corporation that conspires to commit a felony… because at that point, they’re suddenly not people again.)

19: You might be a conservative if you still believe Climate Change is a myth, and the recent record highs, lows, floods and droughts around the world coinciding with climate scientist’s predictions are all an amazing coincidence. Oh, and Al Gore is FAT!
20: You believe when George W. Bush took the national debt from $5 trillion to $11 trillion, it was necessary for him to do so to keep America safe. But when Barack Obama added to it by trying to rescue the country from a second Great Depression, he was deliberately trying to destroy America!

21: You might be a conservative if you believe America is a God fearing country, and that the Almighty protects those who believe just as you do. But it’s never crossed your mind that the majority of tornados, hurricanes and floods all occur in the Bible Belt.

22: You believe that no matter who’s in the White House, the office, if not the man himself is deserving of your respect. The only exceptions to this rule, are if his middle name sounds Muslim, and if he’s not at least as white as that black guy who works down in the mailroom at the office.

But just keep on sending the same kind of people to office. But Tamara, stop bi-ching about the kind of governance you get. Mullin's opponent was a much better candidate, but Rob Wallace wasn't a Republican.
Here is one for you---WMCOL:

“The word ‘Messiah’ is a title and it’s a title that has only been earned by one person and that one person is Jesus Christ.”
That’s what Judge Lu Ann Ballew said last August when ruling the seven month old baby’s name be changed from Messiah to Martin. That ruling drew outrage. Now, she’s been fired by a a higher-up.

Reuters reports:

“O. Duane Slone, presiding judge of the state’s fourth judicial district, terminated Ballew’s appointment, effective last Friday, according to court documents.

Slone did not give a reason in his order, but Ballew had previously been cited by the Tennessee Board of Judicial Conduct for an inappropriate religious bias. A hearing is scheduled for March 3.

Ballew could not be reached for comment on Tuesday.”

As reported HERE, both the mother, Jaleesa Martin, and the father, Jawaan McCullough, were insisting on their respective surnames for baby Messiah in front of the Child Support Magistrate. Ballew instead threw out the child’s birth name and ordered the boy renamed Martin DeShawn McCullough. The parents appealed, and another judge held that Ballew’s ruling was unconstitutional.

History of Messiah.
Apparently Judge Ballew was unaware the Messiah was the 387th most popular name for boys born in the United States in 2012. Or that, as reported by the Social Security Administration, 762 applications for boys named Messiah in 2012, more than double the 368 applications made in 2011.

Seems Messiah doesn’t come to, nor is it welcome in Cocke Co. Tennessee. At least not in Judge Ballew’s court. But all that has come to and end. First, judgment and then execution of sentence for thou who passed original judgment on Baby Messiah.

Thank God?
Or maybe, thanks should go to those judges who ruled without the bias that religion preaches. Following in the wake of the Creationism debate we see an overwhelming support to reason by means of natural law and not blind faith. That reason of law once again prevailed. Judgment based on religious beliefs was found unconstitutional and Lu Ann Ballew is no longer sitting in judgment of anyone.

Have you heard the Good News?
Raise your hands to the sky and shout,“Hallelujah”! Further disciplinary actions are coming. Termination was not enough. I would expect disbarment. And then her religious bias and personal judgment won’t be the only cross she has to bear.

Obamacare

To insure the uninsured, first we make the insured uninsured. Then we make the formerly insured pay more to become re-insured to insure the uninsured for free.

It appears Wisconsin has a problem coming from both sides of the political aisle. Sorry to burst your hate whitey bubble

A small Wisconsin town has not only deemed it illegal for residents to wear “Impeach Obama” t-shirts, but to proudly display the American flag as well. Of course, it isn’t all over the city, just within 100 feet of any overpasses in town.

The controversy started when a movement called “Overpasses for America” started waving flags and holding signs saying to impeach Obama on overpasses for all passersby below to see. Needless to say a few Obama sheep complained about the protesters and the city shut them down.

Enacting an all out ban on anything of political nature—including even the American flag—the city has ruled that the protesters not be allowed within 100 feet of any overpass within the city’s limits.

After that, testing the waters to see how serious authorities were on enforcing their new unconstitutionally provoked law, random protesters defied the ruling and went out there anyways. A group of protesters went out wearing “impeach Obama” t-shirts but were quickly shooed off by police with the threat of fines for non-compliance.

Another man just went out to fly the flag but was promptly slapped with a $139 fine as he was in violation of the new law.

Since that time, protesters have taken legal action and have now prepared a lawsuit of epic proportions that they are dropping at the feet of the city. President and chief counsel of the Thomas More Law Center, Richard Thompson, explains:

“The Supreme Court has repeatedly stated that a bedrock principle of the First Amendment is that government cannot ban the expression of ideas just because some find it offensive. In fact, the Supreme Court has allowed the burning of the American Flag on the grounds that it is a matter of free expression. So I’m astonished that the Town of Campbell and the police department think it can ban a citizen from displaying the American Flag.”

An attorney representing the case, Erin Mersino, echoed Thompson’s remarks saying:

“Viewpoint discrimination is one of the most harmful threats to our freedom of speech. The answer to contempt of a certain viewpoint is not to silence that viewpoint, but to invite more speech and create a discourse. That is one of the most fundamental tenets of our Republic. The ordinance at issue turns the public sidewalk on the overpass, which is otherwise open to the public into a dead speech zone.”

How is this better?

The media is at it again. They present the story as:
"Man Shot Over Texting in Movie Theater"

The truth is that a man was shot after he grabbed a 71 year old man's bucket of popcorn and whipped it into his face.

The shooting was a simple reaction, by a frail old man, to being physically assaulted in a dark theater.

Had not the shooting victim escalated a simple verbal discussion to a physical assault, he'd be alive today.

In the lower right hand you can see the shooting victim grab Reeve's bucket of popcorn, and hurl it at the old man's head.

At this point Reeves was under no obligation to allow the assault to continue to escalate.

Lesson Here: Don't assault an old man just because you believe that you are younger and stronger.

Could Obamacare Really Bring Down Social Security?

The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, better known as Obamacare, has been controversial ever since it became law. A recent report from the Congressional Budget Office recently concluded that Obamacare could cause full-time employment to drop by 2 million.

Given that Social Security is funded by wage-based taxes, could that drop in wage income lead to Social Security's demise?

Remember! We are already borrowing to pay Social Security now, FACT!

Which of these is REALLY in your best interest?

The Republicans.
The truth is, the Republicans aren't out to get you. The rich aren't out to enslave you. The truth is that they don't give you much thought at all. They're too busy running their businesses, hiring their employees and dealing with the realities that make up a productive life.

The Democrats.
They think about you all the time. They think about what is best for you. They decide what is and is not your best interest. They think of you as a slow witted, weak-minded victim who can't decide for yourself what kind of food to eat, where to send your kids to school or whether or not you want to be in a union.

Liberals don't believe you'll buy light bulbs that save you money and they don't believe you can be trusted owning a gun and they certainly believe you are far too stupid to be trusted to save for your own retirement.

They believe that your life will turn out best if they care for you like a backwards child and that freedom to make your own choices is not, really, in your best interest.

Another example of Liberal Racism...

The truly insidious racism of lowered expectations:

Voter ID is racist so they claim. People of color are more likely to not have any picture ID, they claim and apparently, unable to get a picture ID! Prejudiced against the young and the old, so they claim.

Why would a person of color be less likely to have and less likely be able to get a picture ID than you are?

Are people of color too stupid to know how to get one?
Do you believe people of color can't come up with a $5 issuance fee?
I hope Liberals aren't saying they are too lazy, are they?

Why is it YOU can get a picture ID and yet they claim a person of color can't do it as well?

Exclusive: AIDS patients in Obamacare limbo as insurers reject checks

By Sharon Begley and Julie Steenhuysen
NEW YORK (Reuters)- Hundreds of people with HIV/AIDS in Louisiana trying to obtain coverage under President Barack Obama's healthcare reform are in danger of being thrown out of the insurance plan they selected in a dispute over federal subsidies and the interpretation of federal rules about preventing Obamacare fraud.

Some healthcare advocates see discrimination in the move, but Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana says it is not trying to keep people with HIV/AIDS from enrolling in one of its policies under the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare.

The state's largest carrier is rejecting checks from a federal program designed to help these patients pay for AIDS drugs and insurance premiums, and has begun notifying customers that their enrollment in its Obamacare plans will be discontinued.

The carrier says it no longer will accept third-party payments, such as those under the 1990 Ryan White Act, which many people with HIV/AIDS use to pay their premiums.

"In no event will coverage be provided to any subscribers, as of March 1, 2014, unless the premiums are paid by the subscriber (or a relative) unless otherwise required by law," Blue Cross Blue Shield of Louisiana spokesman John Maginnis told Reuters.

AIDS FUNDS EXEMPT FROM FRAUD CONCERNS

The dispute goes back to a series of statements from Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), the lead Obamacare agency.

In September, CMS informed insurers that Ryan White funds "may be used to cover the cost of private health insurance premiums, deductibles, and co-payments" for Obamacare plans.

In November, however, it warned "hospitals, other healthcare providers, and other commercial entities" that it has "significant concerns" about their supporting premium payments and helping Obamacare consumers pay deductibles and other costs, citing the risk of fraud.

The insurers told healthcare advocates that the November guidance requires them to reject payments from the Ryan White program in order to combat fraud, said Robert.
