Anyone know where the Robison murder/cold case forum went? It was up to around 1500 posts, and just vanished. I guess we could start a new one for anyone interested.

Yes, I was a long time follower. I see someone has started another blog with 11 posts. I wonder how to contact topix to get some questions answered.

Paul,
I was referring to the topix heading under Beaver
Island right before this one. It now has about 16
posts. Apparently Mardi is working on trying to get
the orginal posts restored.

Would anyone who has watched Wally's DVD of the Robison FORUM on May 18, 2009 like to comment. Wally was working under some adverse conditions due to an unexpected arrival of Channel 2 News from Detroit and there need to have better camera./microphone placement.

Two of the last remaining individuals to ever interrogate SCOLARO were present to share their
comments on why they knew, almost immediately, he was their "person of interest" in the murders.\

Detectives Flis and Stearns were invited but declined stating they solved the case 38 years ago and did not need to re-hash it all with anyone.

They solved it--the prosecutor decided he did not want to prove the guilt using his power of "prosecutorial discretion" that could not be overturned or questioned.

When it was finally determined that Emmet County did not want to act due to costs of a trial--time and effort that would be needed etc.--Oakland County Prosecutor L. Brooks Patterson and his Chief Deputy Ronald Covault decided to act and were in process of having jurisdiction over the prosecution of the crime changed to Oakland COunty from Emmet so that an arrest could take place when the SUICIDE occurred! ALl was then just placed on the shelf-an "inactive file" shelf for perpetuity unless the now in place BSUnit of Michigan State Police is officially requested to go back over the evidence.

Forensic firearms expert Detective Charles Meyers sent his comments from Florida stating that the ballistic evidence was overwhelming--cut and died case had it been allowed to go to court.

This is new to me, who "determined" they didn't act due to costs, time and effort? I believe Emmet county did not act because according to Noggle and Kelly, they couldn't place Scolaro at the cabin the night of the murders, and they didn't have a weapon.

Daily Horoscope for December 14

Virgo

It's a great day for doing some Christmas shopping. You've got the stamina to fight your way round the shops and the interest to see what's on offer when you get there. However, you'll be very tempted to buy whatever you see first and only look at the price tag later, which could turn out to be a very expensive tactic.
