Kimberley King and OCCK-same killer?

A young girl named Kimberley King (no relation to Tim King, an OCCK victim) vanished from a Warren, MI street some time after the so-called end of the Oakland County Child Killings. Why is she not considered a possible victim of the same killer or killers? Please post here anything you know about this case.

One of the things about the OCC killer was that he seemed to always leave the body where it would be found and placed as though he/she had gently laid it there. To this day I can't drive by the spot on 10 Mile Rd. in Southfield or the street in Franklin without thinking about it.

What is the most up-to-date theory on who killed these kids?

I'm not sure. It keeps changing and nothing "firm" ever gets announced. There was talk about a guy from Michigan who died out west and was supposed to have items belonging to some of the victims but you would think that something like that would get a lot of press and some kind of formal acknowledgment, which it didn't. The official assumption always was that the killings stopped because the individual died, moved or was in prison or a combination of these.

The guy out west was exhumed because LE wanted to compare DNA from the victims' bodies with him. They didn't match. But according to some people the case is ongoing and the files can't be read for that reason. But I can't seem to get any info on what they are doing or who they are suspecting.

I have followed the oakland county case for the length, I always felt the evidence would show up on Timothy King because the kilings stop after him, it was just a gut feel, does anyone know if their is any new information on the dna? It's been 2yrs this month they found it on Timothy's body.
