The Beaver Falls pottery company building has been sold and all contents are being removed/scrapped. There is some damage, but the facility looks like it stopped in mid-production. Molds, silkscreens and un-fired pottery abound.

Does anyone know who currently owns the Beaver Falls China Plant? I photograph historic industrial buildings and am interested in contacting them.

I'm friends with Mr. Louis Appel Jr. who also owned Mayer China. What ever happened and where did all the machinery go.

I've been in the pottery business for 47 years and love the history of the China companies of Ohio. Any pictures of the insides of the China plants or books let me know.

I forgot, Beaver Falls is in Pa. I love China companies in Pa. When I was in collage at Alfred we went on a field trip to Shenago China and it was amazing.
