YEAH...he can't treat the girls/boys at OCHS like dirt anymore. Hope Amber dumps his sorry old aged (he is older than his mother-in-law, OMG) butt.

I'm sure he resigned because this place is nuts. People laugh at this county...really. He won with what he had, people don't like that if you're not from around here. And as far as amber goes, they have 2 kids and seem to be a happy family. Just sayn. And the comment from 'ted hill'-i seriously doubt he even knows this website exists.

Coaches have a really tough job. They spend countless hours with these kids even in summer which they are not paid for. They get nothing but criticism even when they are winning. They have to make unpopular choices in order to win sometimes. He treated the girls fairly in my opinion. He has a temper, what coach doesn't? He doesn't like to lose, who does? Some parents need to keep their noses out of it and let them coach. His personal life is just that, personal!!!

Well lee, coaches know what they are signing up for when they get the job, the good and the bad. You can't tell me that if you had a daughter or son that was hit or treated like trash that you wouldn't have a problem. It's a sport for goodness sake. No one deserves to be treated less than human and as for having a temper that should be left at home. He opens up his personal life to the public when he takes the job. If his behavior is so justified, I wonder if he wants his girls to receive the same treatment. I'll bet the answer is NO!

Ted Hill just so happened to be MY coach. He was an amazing coach, and treated us like we were his own children. I'm really going to miss having him as my head coach. Leave his family out of it, they never did anything to deserve to be on this website. Amber and the girls always have a big smile on their face, as well as Coach Hill. Coach Hill wasn't a bad coach AT ALL! And he definitely treated us right. He thought and still thinks the world of the Lady Eagle Basketball program, but he needed to focus on his children, wife, and future.

He was given a choice: resign or be fired. His focus was covering his butt so that he might save face. He should have gone when he was on probation concerning his behavior with baseball. Maybe he will even be gone as a teacher it would only improve the teacher pool!

That is true & he knew he was gonna be gone one way or another because I know for a fact he had messaged Muhlenburg county high school coach telling him that if he had any opening for a coach to keep him in mind & Muhlenburg's coach took it as a joke until he sent it again & this happened before the season was ever over.

Excited for the girls team: Hope Hill realizes that he could still be there if he had not been such an ego maniac.
