In this case "old fashion justice" is needed. I would gladly carry it out. These two do not deserve another breath of air.

Our modern world is full of killers of 4-year-olds. They do it because 4-year-olds tend to misbehave and incite anger in adults who have a low tolerance level for misbehavior. That low tolerance level usually comes from drugs, booze, and tedious misfortune. The adult is having a hard time, not keeping a steady job, not getting along very well with people in general, borderline depressed from a general lack of success in life, and resorting to drugs and booze to try to get some comfort against all that tedious misfortune. The 4-year-old then starts misbehaving at the wrong time, and it's whack, bang, crunch, dead. The adult never intended to kill, but was just out of control and careless, and only intended to discipline the behavior problem.

Don't make excuses for these low life pos. If they can't handle raising kids then they don't need them. I have a six year old, a four year old and a baby due any time. I am a single mother and was beat on growing up, yet my children are taken care of and loved. Yes there are times they can push my buttons til I wanna scream, that is when you put them in time out, tell them not to move and go smoke a cigg. I spank my kids on occasion but if you are mad then common sense tells you not to lay a hand on them.

I beg to differ with your reasoning. For every person that chooses to beat a child there are many many more that are just as stressed and can restrain themselves not to. If you are a parent you shouldn't be drowning your sorrows in booze and drugs in the first place. I'm all for spankings. In fact more people should do it nowadays and children would act better but with that being said, it's hard to kill a child from a hard spanking even though you can cross a line there too. You should never punish a child in the heat of the moment when you know you are liable to cross that line. Also,if they were truly intending to "discipline" that child then there hands should not touch anywhere else on the child's body other than their bottom. If they end up hitting them with an object, hitting them in the head,or doing anything to cause bodily harm to that child then they weren't just simply trying to discipline the bad behavior, they threw an adult temper tantrum in the heat of the moment and took their frustrations out on a defenseless child. Don't try to sugarcoat it.

i am raising my grand daughter and she gets on my nerves. she cries, throws fits, whines, throws things and much more. when i get on the phone is when she decides to get into stuff or dump out all the chips or scream and throw fits so i cant hear, or fights sleep and will not go to sleep for hours and i have to rock and rock. sometimes i yell at her sometimes i just put her down and go sit in bathroom for a little while but i never ever ever hit her when i am aggravated never do i lose my temper and try to hit her or shake her never slap her.
i do think kids need to be spanked but only on bottom or a small slap on the hand but never beat or ever hit in the face or head. and anyone that would hurt a child that would ever hit a child that leaves a bruise or worse needs to be put to sleep just like a dog cause that's what they are a rabid animal and the law needs to protect society from these mad animals
