Has anyone tried Credit Card Zappers? They are supposed to be able to lower your debt without bankruptcy or debt consolidation.

Instead of bashing these people, we should be feeling sorry for them and the mess they have made for themselves.

Sadly our capitalistic culture has convinced people that they need to have certain things to be admired.

In addition, the day to day expenses have many families working two jobs just to survive, not to thrive.

However, I fully expect 600 blogging know it alls to reply to this post with the typical bashing. "They should have known better, etc."

To those I say: "They did not know better and that is contributing to a slumping economy which we all have to live in".

So instead of judging, why not sit quietly, or better yet with your strong financial situation help a person in need?

Hopefully we'll all be able to survive and see the better days ahead.

Good luck to all of those who find themselves in trouble.

Yes people are in debt. The USA is in debt. It's going to get a lot worse before it gets better. If it gets better. Why is eveyone working two jobs to live on LI and pay all these government workers outrageous salaries.

all those illegal leeches are ruining EVERYTHING.They make the dollar weaker every penny they send out of our country. Do not buy anything to help our economy. Don't pay taxes. Take our jobs cheaper. Use our housing and all other resources. Some also prey on our kids and citizens, which hurts so many, then costs millions in our prisons. They clogg up all of our emergency rooms.
The time has really come where we cannot afford to carry them anymore, and that would just be a small start to turn this economic debacle around. Is ANY elected official listening to us, and I mean elected, not a self annointed Reverand.

<<< Moody's Investor Service reported that the charge-off rate -- which measures those credit card accounts that are considered uncollectable as an annual percentage of all outstanding loans -- reached 6.27 percent in April, its highest level since December 2005.>>>>

This is the cost of doing the credit business . Now the Newsday article fails to inform us what the charge-off-rate is normally . Why ? Because then there might hardly be a point to this story .

It's all over for America. Move to Canada. Move anywhere you can. Don't stay here. You will only be working for these creeps. You will have no life here in America.

Running America to the ground is almost completed no matter what. There will soon be TV commercials urging donations to support a child in the US for 25 cents a day.

.The credit card interest rates are designed to increase your debt, not allowing you to get out.
.
..Washington approved their twenty plus percent interest rates - worse than going to a loan shark - and a lot easier to get in over your head.

Just read the book "Credit Card Nation" by Robert Manning; the 2 books by Elizabeth Warren": and "Maxed Out."
Then you'll know just how these companies have insinuated themselves into our spending habits!
