Everything in the bible is true. Don't be afraid of the truth. If you are lucky , then Jesus will open up your mind to the truth.

(Revelation 13:3-18) And I saw one of his heads...wounded to death; and his fatal wound was healed: and all the world was in wonder over the beast.
And they worshipped Satan which gave the beast his power: and they worshipped the beast, saying, "Who is like the beast? Who is able to fight against him?"
And he was gifted with a mouth that could speak great & convincing things and blasphemies; and he was empowered to continue forty-two months.(3 1/2 yrears)
And with his mouth he blasphemed God: His name, His tabernacle, and all that dwell in heaven with God.
And he was empowered to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all races and languages and nations.
And all those whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb (Jesus), will worship the beast.
If any man has an ear that wants to hear truth, let him be given the ability hear and understand these words.
Whosoever leads others into captivity shall go into captivity himself: he that kills others with the sword will also be killed with the sword. By confidence in this fact, the saints will receive patience and faith to endure their hardships.
And I saw another beast coming up out of the earth; with two horns like a lamb, and speaking like a dragon.
And he has all the power of the first beast that came before him, and he causes them that live on the earth to worship the first beast, whose fatal wound was healed.
And he performs great wonders, so that he makes fire to come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of all mankind,
And he deceives them that dwell on the earth by those miracles which he had power to do in the beast's sight;
And he tells them that dwell on the earth, to make an image to the beast, which had the fatal wound by a sword, and lived.
And he had power to give life to the image of the beast, and causes the image to both speak, and arranges it that any who will not worship the image of the beast to be killed.
And he causes everyone, the unknown and the famous, rich and poor, free and those in prison, to receive a mark either in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
So that no one may buy or sell, except for those that have either the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
In this lies wisdom. Let him that has understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is 666."

The Bible is a mix of history, allegory and poetry. It is all "true" in a spiritual sense, and the history is accurate. To find the "truth" in the Bible, you must determine if you are reading a poem or a history. You read each of these differently.

the bible is a collection of ancient texts, and incomplete one.(Start your research with the Gnostic Bible and go from there.) Because modern Christians use it as a weapon of abuse, everytime i stay in a hotel room, i find the bible and toss it directly into the trash. I find Christians to be undereducated, with zero critical intelligence, and running from or healing from some serioius trauma. not suprisingly people have powerful experiences with the bible, because words are powerful. and their belief gives it power, like a placebo. i have spiritual awakenings myself all the time, in nature, at work, in friendship, in sex (especially sex). keep the bible out of my government!

Yes, but I have had the same job for the last 14 years and I love working there, and I have a loving wife and two small children.
God had no impact on my life and I will keep on being a non-believer because many facts in the bible were proven to be false.

I think you need to broaden your mind a bit and not be governed by an ancient piece of fiction!

Please enlighten me on what has been proven incorrect. And I believe God has had an impact on your life, just under your nose my friend, blessing you with a loving wife and two small children. When you lift up your eyes in hell and are searching for relief from its fury, just remember your own words. "God had no impact on my life". And with that being said my friend God blessed you with your family and job, they can be taken away just as easy. Religion should not be pushed on anyone, and I am sure you feel the same. Its a choice, and you have the right to believe in what you do. All that I pray for is that you think before you deny Gods existance, and its consequenses.

I refuse to believe what you just said, I earned my job through hard work and education, not by prayer or belief, I worked hard to get where I am today.
And "God" did not bless me with a wife and children, I met my wife one night at a friends house and it was my effort and loyalty that kept us together for so long.
I don't like it when people pass my hard work off as the work of someone else.

Wait, so you guys actually believe there are magical places we go to after death, either filled with evil scary monster-demons, or blonde haired blue eyed men with big fluffy wings?

Sounds totally believable.

Thank you for doing so much to educate people regarding the Bible.

I need some advice from you regarding some of the laws and how to best follow them.

A) When I burn a bull on the altar as a sacrifice, I know it creates a pleasing odor for the Lord (Lev 1:9). The problem is my neighbors. They claim the odor is not pleasing to them. Should I smite them?

B) I would like to sell my daughter into slavery, as sanctioned in Exodus 21:7. In this day and age, what do you think would be a fair price for her?

C) Lev. 25:44 states that I may indeed possess slaves, both male and female, provided they are purchased from neighboring nations. A friend of mine claims that this applies to Mexicans, but not Canadians. Can you clarify? Why can't I own Canadians?

D) I know that I am allowed no contact with a woman during her period of menstrual uncleanliness (Lev 15:19-24). The problem is, how do I tell? I have tried asking, but most women take offense.

E) I have a neighbor who insists on working on the Sabbath. Exodus 35:2 clearly states he should be put to death. Am I morally obligated to kill him myself?

F) A friend of mine feels that even though eating shellfish is an Abomination (Lev 11:10), it is a lesser abomination than homosexuality. I don't agree. Can you settle this?

G) Lev 21:20 states that I may not approach the altar of God if I have a defect in my sight. I have to admit that I wear reading glasses. Does my vision have to be 20/20, or is there some wiggle room here?

H) Most of my male friends get their hair trimmed, including
the hair around their temples, even though this is expressly forbidden by Lev 19:27. How should they die?

I) I know from Lev 11:6-8 that touching the skin of a dead pig makes me unclean, but may I still play football if I wear gloves?

J) My uncle has a farm. He violates Lev 19:19 by planting two different crops in the same field, as does his wife by wearing garments made of two different kinds of thread (cotton/polyester blend).
He also tends to curse and blaspheme a lot. Is it really necessary that we go to all the trouble of getting the whole town together to stone them?(Lev 24:10-16) Couldn't we just burn them to death at a private family affair like we do with people who sleep with their in-laws?(Lev. 20:14)

I know you have studied these things extensively, so I am confident you can help.

Sometimes the truth is stanger than fiction, like Bohemian Grove and the new world order. Maybe you want to be here when the holy spirit leaves the earth and thir is 7 years of hell on earth.
The choice is yours.

No mocking God. Asking a serious question.

How do we reconcile the old testament with the new testament?

If something is permitted or forbidden in the old testamnet. Is it permitted or forbidden if we follow the new testament?

Also, must we follow everything in the old testament or just part of it.

So I wonder, does Jesus' teaching replace all the laws of the old testament.

If so, why do some Christian groups insist 1 or 2 of the old testament laws still apply.

Jesus addressed that very question. We are only saved through grace.

However , if you really want to know how god feels about certain topics, then read the old testament. The Jews were rescued out of slavey in Egypt, God made a covenant with them. They had to obey many laws. This was all to show us that it is impossible for us not to sin. That is why god gave his only son so that we may live.

Read the new and old testament and you will understand. I have to work in the morning, but I wish you well.

So good luck and God Bless.

P.S. If you want to learn about cool stuff. Study the giants of the bible. How the seed of man was corrupted in the days of Noah, and how it has been corruspted again. Demonic gentic mutation.
The truth is always stanger than fiction. I am a scientist and I read the bible. The truth has been hidden from us. Learn to see through the lies. Its facinating.

Tom, thank you for the discussion.

As i grow older, religion does not seem as clear as when I was 12 years old.

I enjoy nice conversations that help me obtain clarity.

Will checl this site again in a day or two.

I seek answers from many people and am beginning to get answers that are reasonable.

many thanks.

Daily Horoscope for December 12

Scorpio

Someone has a lot to say for themselves today, and much of it revolves around their possessions and spending habits. For instance, they might regale you with details of everything they've bought recently, even if you couldn't care less. Try not to do this yourself or you'll give the impression of being materialistic or possibly even mercenary.
