You mean that only those using their 911 addresses have the right to vote Monday all others need not try. I do not live at the address they have written on my card. And the address to the place I live is not a 911 address, so therefore I will not be allowed to vote. To the citizens of Newton County Texas, your duly elected officials are not following the letter of the law and your primary law man believes that it is ok to lie. Please elect somebody if you can that has some actual sense. Cr is not a name, pvt is not a name, County Road is only a name if it is owned by the county. An easement grant does not give the county ownership of a road, it gives them the right to travel across someones private property through the use of a private road or piece of road that they do not own for the general safety of the public. If, you are wondering why Newton County is going backwards you only need to keep in mind that the City of Newton is not Newton County Texas. And the current system is being run by a group that is trying to put the citizen's out of their homes to turn Newton County into a hunters play ground. These 911 addresses are not safe, they are confusing, and they are acts of outright fraud. The County of Newton can not break a contract for an original easement and then pretend that they never had an easement to begin with that is illegal. Please vote to fire the people involved in the current 911 addressing system if you can. Vote if you can!

There are a few legal issues concerning the renaming of certain roads in Newton County Texas that are continuing to cause other legal problems for the state of Texas. Contracts were made by the former Newton County Courts and the current court is in violation of those contracts and thus is in violation of federal law and state law as well. You can not use the sheriffs office to enforce illegal addressing it is a crime to use the sheriffs office to break a legally binding contract. These roads were adopted with names and all you gentlemen are doing is causing a law that was designed to increase the safety and welfare of the citizens to endanger it more than if you had done nothing at all. You would understand the problem you have caused if the state came along and changed the name of Newton County Texas or even the name of Newton Texas. You do not own private property, and you can not regulate free speech and that is why the statute you are purporting to use says SET and not the power to rename private or easement roads for county use. When you renamed these roads for no reason at all you violated federal law when you failed to get permission from the original easement giver. Which in most cases means you can never get permission to rename a road whose name was not in conflict with another road under this statute. Your system has to obey the laws of our land just like the rest of us or else you will have future problems. If you can break a contract that you made in good faith and you use the law to break it for no other reason than your liking or disliking the terms sooner or later you will find people are unwilling to do business with you and that is why section II of the U.S. Constitution makes it illegal for a government agency of this country to break a contract with the force of law. Read the U.S. Constitution and comprehend this fact that you are in violation of it, and the states failure to advise you of this is incredible since you are not even following the statute to the letter anyway. The law specifically states that the roads must have seperate and distinct name and no more than 10 incedence should be allowed of a similar name. Dear commisioners and any other interested parties Cr, Co Rd, County Road, Pvt, Private Road have been used more than ten times in Newton County Texas. This clearly means you do not care about state law or federal law. And the fact that you renamed roads that bore the same name for more than a hundred years shows that you have no respect for the founders of this county, state, or country. I hope that when they are made to make the addresses more specific that a review of what you done will allow them to make you pay for the damages you have and are causing. The money and revenues lost to the state and federal government alone should be of a concern to a government in the middle of a recession. You gentlemen yourselfs should be showing more concern for the non-cash damages that you are doing to your own county. And do not go pointing your fingers at DETCOG. They are not a government agency and have no authority over private property any more than you or any other citizen does. If you want to be Kings, you could inform the rest of us. So, We can help you look for your kingdoms. Newton County Texas is a part of the United States of America and it is supposed to be a land of laws that everyone including you are to obey. You are interfering with peoples right to vote and many other things. When you break one law you cause others to be broken. The state passed a voter ID Bill that now with your illegal addressing cause people to be disinfranchised to vote, or not even participate in their own government. Taxation without representation was what it was called in the early days. I bet very few of these streets where the voters will vote will be named Cr if there are any at all. Put the names back on these roads and stop causing trouble.

What do you know DETCOG has wrote someone and told them that their address was listed wrong on their books. But it isn't one of the dangerous Cr #### addresses but one of those with an actual name on it. Dear DETCOG YOU ARE STILL NOT IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE 911 ADDRESSING STAUTE HERE IN THE STATE OF TEXAS. You are still endangering the lives and property of the citizens. You are still responsible for interfering with peoples private and public communications. You are also interfering with their property rights, voting rights, and their personal property rights. You are nothing more than the equivalent of the brown shirts of Natzi Germany, and at the very least acting like the facist of old italy. An address is a description of a mans home and of himself, and I am afraid that the state did not grant you or the county government to set standards for 911 addressing, but only the right of setting an address which means that you were only given the right to set a mileage number for a property. How can an agency that was set up to protect the citizens actually think that they are required by law to attack these same citizen that employ them. This seems more like a group of red would do than a democracy would do. Is private property still private property or is it private property only when the safety gods proclaim it to be. I am not anti-government and it is not fun for me to criticize duly elected officials, but I beleive a good many of you did inhale.
