It's so odd that you are from Dallas, TX, where Tony claims to be from, and all of a sudden these "good reviews" are coming out of no-where, why are posting on the Vidor, Tx site and not Dallas??? There were VERY few good things said about this place before all the true, bad things were posted, makes me wonder who they are really coming from??????? Well, I had a terrible experience with this place, first of all it is not what it appears to be, and the customer service that I recieved was just the same, terrible, I will never or would ever recommend anyone to stay there. I would say to anyone reading this, if you are thinking about staying there, call the chamber, see what they have to recommend, then check with the BBB, this place of business is NOT a member of the BBB, and there has been another complaint, other than mine, filed with the BBB on this business. Also, in an email I recieved from Tony, threatening to sue me, I noticed that he cannot spell worth a crap, kind of like your post on here....HUUUUUMMMMM......kind of weird, don't you think??????

We stayed in the longbranch and had a great time Old western theme rooms very clean and nice .
Great location for all shops.....
The Mountain shops were so fun the bathroom is decorated so cute even a chandelier and a gold thrown what a unique place .
the winery next door was great I love wine.
The food for breakfast was the best food ever.
I would recomend the Longbranch for service food location and so much more..........

I guess some people need a life well I have one and it's a happy one like Lincoln said most people are as happy as they make up there mind to be.
The Longbranch hotel is a 2 day event Hotel and located on 1st Monday grounds not 10 miles from the market I mean on the Market grounds and free parking and a big buffet breakfast with all the goodies I love canton so I go really often.
Texas yes I am and pround to live in Addison where all the fun and single life action is but I love a great deal and high city prices well canton's worth the trip. Even with high gas prices it is a great family get away.

The point is that he has to advertise this way, because he has been kicked off of too many other sites(in Canton) that know he doesn't conduct business with a professional attitude. There has been WAY TOO many complaints with the BBB and the Chamber there in Canton, so he has to get word out somehow, or go out of business!! Pretty sad if you ask me, how all of a sudden these "good" reviews came about, AFTER I told my story about this dump, and it's VERY rude owner. Like I have said PLENTY of times, if you need a good place to stay in Canton, do yourself a favor and call the Chamber, they are great and will give you a good recomedation on where to stay. I do agree that Canton is great, with the exception of this OLD, RUN down place with the VERY RUDE OWNER! The shopping there is GREAT! Good luck!

Now let's have class.

Argumentum ad Hominem, a logical fallacy:

A debater commits the Ad Hominem Fallacy when he introduces irrelevant personal premises about his opponent. Such red herrings may successfully distract the opponent or the audience from the topic of the debate.

The topic was your violation of Topix Terms of Service, which you failed to address, but instead decided to fantasize about me. I'm honored, now let's get back to the topic.

I called Friday morning and reserved Friday night and Saturday night for Trade Days. We get to Canton around 9:30 or so and Tony was waiting for us. I told him to charge my credit card both nights so I wouldnt have to worry about anything when I got there. So when we get there, we are greated by Tony and his two dogs. Well, he showed us the room we would be staying in which was attached to the office and we would be staying one room over from him. That was kinda creepy. I didnt really feel comfortable taking a shower. The bed was comfortable. The TV was so small I couldnt see it and the cable was below average. Maybe that wasnt his fault. When he was showing us our room his dogs were jumping all over the beds and the pillows and it would have been ok except they didnt smell very well. The next morning he cooked breakfast and it was good. So we leave our stuff in the room (he didnt give us a key to lock it) and went shopping. About 9am Tony calls and says that he didnt have the room available for the second night but he reserved us a room with the lady behind him. So that wasnt very business like. So we rushed back to the room and grabbed our stuff. He hooked us up with one of his girlfriends who had a room that she was charging $95 a night for with no TV the shower was inadequate and the beds were horrible. We were kept up all night long with the karaokee going on right outside our room. That maybe should have been disclosed before we payed the $100.00 to stay there! I loved the shopping but will NEVER stay at the Longbranch again!!!!! The other room was called Pea something..It was too long and stupid of a name to remember. "The Mountain" was run down and trashy. Reminded me of something on the Guadalupe River that had been flooded. Not a very good first impression!

Nov 08 went for Trade Days with several girlfriends, had a wonderful time, Long Branch met our needs. Cheap & cheezy decor but we weren't there for deco. Very accommodating. Great, we booked another stay..ALL DOWN HILL FROM THERE!!! Booked next visit Jun 09 for December trade days, had to cancel July 09. Never was there a cancellation policy, refund policy anything like this discussed when booking...in fact he "secured" our stay by charging my credit card for 7 women at $60 night. When cancelling Tony told me he had to charge a 10% cancellation fee because the credit card company charges him a percentage regardless of the activity. Agreed. Months went by no credit applied to account..of course, I've been calling him..said he would take care of it, would call me back..so on and so on. End of September 09 he charged me the exact same fee again INSTEAD OF crediting me. Called him, said it was a mistake but again due to credit card company charges..he said he would send me a cashier's check for the full amount of both charges. WELL..you quessed it NO CHECK. Few weeks later called him again he said he thought someone took care of this. I called my credit card company had to go through paper work and phones call but they finally credited my account. OH NO, IT'S NOT OVER. Then just a couple weeks ago the credit card company calls Tony is contesting their refusal of payment stating that these charges were for non refundable deposit and cancellation fees. So now I still am fighting this. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH TONY!!!!!! PLEASE, I'D HATE TO KNOW HE IS CONTINUEING TO STEAL...THERE IS NO OTHER WORD FOR IT, HE IS A THEIF AND POOR BUSINESS MANAGER WITH NO MORALS OBVIOUSLY.
