Federal agents seized more than $11 million worth of cocaine stashed inside boxes of bananas in the Bronx this week, law enforcement sources said yesterday.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents discovered almost 1,000 pounds of the drug after stopping a white box truck along Oak Point Ave. in Hunts Point on Tuesday.

Officers were tipped off to the truck after an inspection of produce boxes from Colombia at the port in Bridgeport, Conn.

The seizure is one of the largest in recent history, the source said. Arrests were pending yesterday, and the investigation was continuing.
