I agree "change is needed" he is the best candidate for the job. He is willing to give up some of his time on Saturdays so that working people of Lee Co. don't have to miss work to get business done at the clerks office. Is any of the other candidates willing to do this? He treats everyone with respect no matter what there economic or social status is. I have done business at the clerks office with Ms. Savage helping me and I didn't feel has if she wanted to help me. We need someone in there who has the personality to treat all with respect.

I'm with you all for Terry Tipton. I love the idea of being able to go to the clerks office when I need to on a Saturday since I work out of the county during the week. I don't agree with putting Kim in there but then again I'm not suppose to judge someone for what they've done. But I can't help it. We get enough of Ronnie Paul Begley with the fiscal court and he acts like he owns the county, so if his sister, Patricia Abner gets in then that just gives Ronnie more to own unless someone actually runs against him and wins. I like Patricia, always have, just afraid of the attitude her brother has. So, this citizen is voting for Tipton, all the way!

Looks to me like you are one of the other contestants or related to them and you can't stand the fact that people want Terry for clerk.

Terry is a great guy who is not a politician. He will always treat you with respect and take care of you in a respectful manor. He is what he is and he has never acted as if he was better than anyone else. Kim thinks she can ride the coat tail of our judge and win this election. We need a change and the people are tired of the crap that goes on here. Remember the 20 grand the judge paid his father in law for a piece of property that wasn't worth five hundred. Let's put our foot down and say enough is enough.

Big Foot, I don't understand what you're trying to say. No offense, I just don't know the history maybe. I was thinking that although Terri Tipton might be nice, I would mostly be interested in who could do the best job. After all that is what will matter to the people of the county most. I will be for one of the workers that is in that office now. The transition will be smooth and I have always been treated well anytime I have been in there. I would hate to see someone that knows the job be out of a job.

I have two words for ya Russell Stamper. You must have voted against him for the same reason? He disproves your theory he had not worked in the office either. Who said anyone was losing there job?

Who said anyone ISN'T losing their job. Your two words would be good if there was not someone running that had experience. No transition time is what I'm considering. I'm sure even Russell Stamper had some transition time and couldn't do the job like he can now. That's what I think the experienced girls in that office will offer. No disruption in service. I don't think an election should be about who you like best...but who can do the job best. Taking everything into consideration the office as it is will offer the best canidate. My opinion.

I haven't decided as of yet who I will vote for for the County Clerk's position, but I do know that Terry Tipton has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Finance. So he is not just some "good ole boy". He has the education and work experience. I'm sure there will be some transition time, but this can also be said of Patricia Abner and Blanche Arnold as well. Yes the girls currently working in the office would make for a smoother transition. But is that a valid reason for voting for them? Do we know that either of them are the best candidate? There are a lot of variables to consider. It will be a tough choice. It seems to me that each candidate is qualified well enough to do the job. Only my opinion, for what it's worth.

Get your facts straight, jerkoff. That deal was begun in Bub Reece's administration.

I have enough confidence in the current county clerk, Russell Stamper, to be sure that anyone he has trained in his office will be the best canidate. Service like the man himself offers! I see no need to bring in the unexperienced when experience is right there waiting. I think the race if between those that currently work in that office.

Daily Horoscope for December 11

Gemini

Beware of taking on too much because it will be an effort to get through it all. You might even have to give up the unequal struggle, which won't do much for your ego or your reputation. Be especially careful about this if you're at work because a certain person may try to take advantage of what they see as your weakness or failure to deliver the goods.
