Speaking of the DA....how did the DA, Tribal council, and IHS overlook the KADA director embezzling $15-75 thousand dollars (is the rumor) without filing charges against the swindler??

Is anybody acquainted with the DA that can get an answer to this issue? Or does the DA even know?

Are they even open for business anymore??

Whatever KADA served alot of people and in the time it was in place it helped somepeople . It was all there was that the represented the tribes in klamath next to BIA,IHS ,(carter jones hahaha!).It serveded its time well and now needs to be revamped and revisited .The current A&D counseiling for the tribes by tribal helath is not working.There are issues that need to be addressed at KADA is it tribal or not ?Does the monies for KADA serve Native or not ? Maybe its time to seperate to tribal and let the non-tribal move in their own direction.The tribes can not provide two in adequate A&D programs .

Sounds right to me except all the emotion.That is some of the buisness,there is more IHS gives a ton of money to KADA via the tribe for Indians to get help ,not non-indians they have their own $ for funding.Also how can the tribes currently have 2 A&D programs ? Are the tribes doing that well?between the 2 programs why does it take 250,000 for KADA ,150,000 tribal A&D ,and 5 million meth grant ? How many alcoholics and druggies does the tribe have out of 1500 enrolled members living in klamath?Seems like alot of money and people ?Wow what a sick bunch I guess maybe it takes that much to care for 100 people and plus wimbly house ,and NARA ,KCTC,Consortium? Okay, 4real. Do your own math. If KADA has been in place for around 30 years, why is the Tribes splitting up monies and competing against itself with "tribal A&D" and the "meth grant"? "1500 enrolled members living in klamath"? Falls, or County? Then it takes that much "to care for 100 people"? you said 1500, then 100. What happened to 1400 people all of a sudden according to YOUR MATH? I think it would be cheaper if you were sober! HAHAHAHA!!! And if the tribes have enough to keep "served 3x's over" why are the Tribes political factions fighting over the dollars in the first place? "Served 3x's over" and nothing has gotten better!! Too many paid employees with those budgets, and unqualified at that, to keep our peoples on drugs and alcohol for their "J-O-B Security"! A&D Counseling works for believers in AA and their 12 steps. Well you know if you are a tribal member you need to go to the meetings make a motion to review administrations ability to serve us .Where is Ms Oates ? Here is a good one to sink her teeth into .There is a need to reiveiw the hireing involved in Kathleen and asitants.If Kathleen was not enrollable then she did not qualify for indian prefernce .If She was placed in her position by her man then there is neputisim or worked under the resposbility of it .If she does not meet the basic requirements for the position eg. a BS degree or masters degree I believe required for the positon ,then we need to have her removed as interenm GM as she was placed there ,since she never met requirements for the position and did not follow policies for placement or circumvented them and the positon was not open after her husband helped fire the last guy and make room for her .I believe the tribal counsel will allow an adhock review committee to investigate these issues and establish findings that she does not meet minimum requirements for the position and either has a strict timeline to get these requirements met of a degree BS and Masters or resighn.This would also be held true to her assistant administratiors .If they are truely capable then it should be no problem for them to meet the standards ,and no problem looking into her hiring ?It is time for an administrative review .These incapable people put the tribes at a liablity risk .Of course this final descision should be seen over by the tribal chairman.Sounds official write it up .If we are going to have people run a mulit-million dollar organization the least we can do is make sure they are credible?It all stems from the top thats what I am hearing ethics and unethical practices .Once you put unethical people in a position of resposibility soon you see they are unethical .Step them up for a review through the right process,for you tribe and for your community .time is right for change!

Call for the right to prove the qualifications of all our hired positions. As a tribal governing body, General Council should be demanding this! I can name at least 1 of the many that are in positions they do not qualify for on at least one job qualification! Yet, Tribal Council is always so afraid of taking on the task of proving unqualified employees working for their own interests! Yet they are still the first to jump on the unqualified crying's to remove a qualified member's position, because they do not like he/she, or their subordinate has caught on to their political games and is ready to expose them, as much as they have been granted the right to do so, based on the Code of Ethics all Tribal employees are FORCED to sign, in order to work for our Tribes, yet Tribal Government then begins not to enforce, because ass-kissing non-tribal employees fill their asses with their tongues, and the tribal leaders orgasm and look to keep their orgams in place, and let Tribal problems escalate beyond their control, that they then look for the next Tribal election to take care of!!!!!! Wake the F*** up Tribal Council! Get those combined tongues out your a** and finally pay attention to your Tribal members instead of what White American tries to promise to you!!

I heard that I.H.S. and the recent audit (june2009) found a whole lot of irregularities in the KADA budget. And that it will be closing down very soon! Any one know more about that?

Ok so when the audits happen does anyone show them the family tree? How about the I.H.S. big wigs,do they get a copy of who is related to who? DO people really follow thru with passing this info on to those who aren't related and can make some changes? There is always somebody at the top who has to account for the money. Does it ever get that far? Maybe the right people haven't been given the right info yet! Even Indian Health Service has to account for where the money goes. If the right people don't know then NOTHING will ever change.
