The county has backed out on that one already.
The county wants to put a jail on the west side of Beatrice, what a joke, buying the cart before the horse ,put a jail on the west side of town and haul prisoners to the court house and back and when the river is out of its banks they won't be able to do that, unless they bring them over in a helicopter
much less the biggest part of Gage county is on the east side of the river, they will not give much protection to the most of the county. we'll see how many people fall for their big ideas when they put it to a vote of the poeple.
