Illegals found in DPS stop here on U.S. 59

Thirteen illegal immigrants who were being transported as "live human cargo" in an 18-wheeler truck heading to Houston Saturday were intercepted by troopers of the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Magana became suspicious when he noticed the seal number on the trailer did not match the number listed on the bill of lading, a DPS spokesman said. When the trooper opened the trailer it appeared to be loaded with wet-or-dry vacuums, but some of the boxes appeared to be “steps” leading up to the top of the load, he said.

When Magana climbed to the top he said he found a group of 13 people stretched out on top of the boxes, pretending to be asleep.

Having local law enforcement assist in this type of operation is a necessary action. Local communities can effectively "police" their own situation. We the People can make a difference in getting rid of illegal aliens.

LOL Well now theres proof of what in the back of those Mexican trucks Bush is allowing in. You think he will do anything about it? He wants them here to shake us up good. The laws a lawyer showed me say that local law enforcement is supposed to be working with immigration officials. They shouldnt have to pay thousands of dollars to learn immigration laws. Thats a huge government run scam.
