Any fool could spot the drug dealers in Elkton. They stand on the corners of high street and in front of the men's shelter. And across the street from the howard house. They pretend to walk there dog up and down main and hight streets late at night. In all kinds of weather. They walk up and down Rt-40 between the corner of Rt-40 & landing lane and up to the motels near the delaware state line. Some of the people walking there are good honest people. But 98% of them are drug users and carriers. Transporting the drugs between the motels there. And Hollingsworth Manor. Is another story all its own. Put the police on horse back and dirt bikes in that manor. The police need to spend less time arresting the hookers, and arrest the drug dealers. If they clean up the drug dealers. The call girls will go away on there own. The hookers are trying to stay near the drugs, The call girls are just looking for a fix, stop the drugs at all costs. The police should take notice. The people that are walking up and down Rt-40 and the streets in town. Late at nite. Most likely they are up to no good. Honest people are home in bed. To the police officer out there. Start noticeing the out of state vehicles in town late at night. Most likely they are here for illegal reasons. Also up near the the corner of landing land & west main st. There are people standing out in front of the aptartmens there. And siting on there front pourches all hours of the night. Cars from out of state are slowing down and stoping and circleing the block there. Why? Any fool could spot that. I wish the police luck and gods speed in cleaning up Elkton. But if something is not done soon. Elkton will be just like all other large cityes. A lost cause. Thank you & god bless the people of cecil county.

i dnt know about thewre but out hear i have seen ppl packing heat so i looked it up and its leagal as long as the cops can see it so its not a coceled weapon

Hey CDK, You are right. I agree with you a hundred percent. Elkton is a great place to live. That is why we need to clean up the drug dealers. And run them back to Baltimore and Wilmington where they came from. You take Old Route 7. I have family members there. And they are being over run with a drug dealer and his friends. The police need to get rid of this. The police should watch this guy. He lives across the road from the new trailer park. On East Old Phila Rd. Get rid of him so the decent people there can live in peace. Without people parking in there drive ways and releaving them seleves. And waiting for there friends while they make there deals. My family is use to a quite area. But all of sudden. They have these people messing up there lives. Now CDK try to live with that mess. I think anyone would agree with me. We the people and the police need run these people out of Elkton. But the police can't do it alone. They need our help. Thats why we should tell the police about these people. If anyone don't agree with me. Then they have problems. Or else they don't want to make elkton a better place to live, like I do. Thank you.

Your right it's not only the police but everyone in these communities should get involved.
I have lived here all my life, grew up on Rt 7 (W old Phila Road) and just in the past 5 years have heard of more robberies, murders, shootings, car theft, drugs then we ever had to deal with growing up.
I just wonder what its going to be like when my grand kids are my age, hell at the rate its going what will it be like when my kids are my age.
Scary times.

Yeah. I stopped at the McD's on Elkton Rd couple days ago and big as life there was a woman working the corner of the parking lot. Aren't drugs just a wonderful thing? Gotta love em....NOT!

As for me, I have called the cops time and again, confronted parents, confronted the little urchins etc. I will not stand by and let the little creeps ruin my neck of the woods! No way!

This story is false. A vehicle was stopped on suspicion of carrying illegal drugs,but upon investigation it was discovered that it was only vegetables and fruit in the truck... How these stories get started is beyond me ???? It is all bull dung !!
