Well, let's not forget about Sue's Lakeshore Diner a little further down. Good food, decent prices! She works hard to get the business built up from the former owner. Pretty location, too. This Mel's is in a very unattactive area of Lakeshore, which I know has nothing to do with the food. I wish them both success. God bless the litle man, as Alan Jackson would say!

I don't know if it's employees but people who pull out of here have nearly caused several accidents. They do not seem to look both ways and pull out in front of people on Lakeshore. But people pulling out right in front of others doing anywhere from 45-60 mph is no new thing on Lakeshore.
The worse spot is people coming off Broadway on to 25E going toward Morristown. I had an early 00's red monte carlo pull right out in front of me on Sunday and I am glad everyone in my car was buckled up. I am doing the speed limit, merge over to the left, for people coming to the merge on from Lakeshore and for some reason this idiot just pulls right out on me and I have to slam on my brakes and squeel the tires and I still almost hit him.
