It is CASTRONOVA

Just a note to Trevor Jones and the Eagle's editing staff: The name of the park in Great Barrington is CASTRONOVA Park, not CASSANOVA. Believe me that my grandfather, Charlie Castronova, for whom the park was named in 1986, lacked the qualities required to be called a Cassanova.

"Roberts has since sent the town a letter of demand for $20 million in compensation for his physical and psychological injuries from the incident.

"According to the letter sent to the town, Roberts' attorney claims the officers should have driven Roberts home since he was visibly intoxicated."

Tell us who this ambulance chaser is so we can all go spit on him.

What a wonderful world. Get drunk (illegally), get high (on illegal drugs), and when your dirtbag, drifter 'friends' beat the c**p out of you, sue the town. What's sad is that the police had to waste two minutes finding the assailants of this so-called 'victim.'

"The four men were found using narcotics and were told to disperse by the responding officers."
Is this a typical Eagle typo? If not, why weren't these cretins arrested?
Just wondering

Where is Judy Knight and the CCAJ's outrage in this. This happened near a park I'm sure she has something to say about it

This case just keeps getting better and better! I say the cops should've poured out their booze, ground their weed into the dirt and beat the snot out of all of them. That would be justice.

Another deadbeat who expects money to be handed to them for nothing. Go find yourself your own ambulance chaser; the one mentioned in this article is already busy extorting money from GB.

They are all over 18. Technically they are adults. And the cops dont arrest every under 21 person caught drinking or smoking pot. Its not even a jailable offense. all it is is a fine and I think you can lose your license for 90 days.
When I was a teenager we had parties that got busted by the cops and nobody ever got arrested unless they mouthed off to the cops. All they ever did was dump our booze and break up the party.
The cops probably saw the situation as a couple of teens hanging out having a couple beers around a fire. They could of been doing worse things. And if they happened to be stumbling around and unable to communicate properly im sure the officers would of taken them in to sober them up or given them a ride. Obviously the situation turned pretty bad later on in the night but the cops arent to blame for that. They saw it as a typical saturday night for some teens.
