Bay Shore plume critic sells home to National Grid

I owned a building with my husband on 6 Ackerson st--he is still there----on the north side of the plume-it was our home office----i would get to work every morning while they were doing the remedial work and get sick every day---my throat,eyes and nose would burn-i would feel breathless and dizzy-----i eventually developed lumps under my skin and loss of muscle movement during the time i was at the building--air samples did show levels of mgp chemicals---keyspan had broken many protocols and they know it ,i have pictures and proof of what they were letting escape in the air...i have been exposed to the worst toxins and all keyspan would do its deny it----to end my saga of geting ill i ran from the building and my husband who was lucky to have not been feeling as sick as me but with out my health what is life....i feel better since i am away except i still have the lumps and who knows with my hypersensitivities what will happen in my life.......if some of the hot spots of the plume were within feet of my building and our building had cracks in the foundation how could that be SAFE.....

dlb,the plume went north to south,,in the direction of the ground water {wonder why there are no more big clam harvest's in the great south bay},, but i am not saying there could not be some type of above groundwater back-up that could of got into the cracks in your former home/office i know that area very well,i was in a kind of a hot seat while the origonal ground testing in 1996 was going on,,when the test well's came up the smell made me sick, i have paperwork of results {very scary}, reply back if u need any info/help
