Hope they take him in and keep him there for a long time, sometimes good people pay for the stupid ones that drink and drive and dont think about what can happen

Here's a word problem for you, New York State.

You're in Central Islip. Issi Reneau-Bardales is in a Honda and Steven Jimenez, wasted off his rocker is in a Maxima.

If Jimenez tries to pass the Honda using the left shoulder of the roadway, loses control and strikes the Honda, causing it to spin and crash into a telephone pole, does either illegal have a legitimate license or insurance?

DWI has become practically a daily occurrence on LI roadways. But the liberal lawmakers refuse to take the necessary actions to help prevent or severely reduce the temptation to for a drunk to get behind the wheel.

1) Zero Tollerence
2) Severe Monetary Penalties.
3) Longer Jail Sentences
4) Mandatory Community Service in Exchange of Leisure Time for Life.

It's a Good Start.

Excellent points. Also, considering that Jimenez (the DWIer) is only 18, is also guilty of under age drinking. He should get a nice long prison sentence both to teach him a lesson, and to serve as a warning to others. Enough is enough with DWI's.
