I have wondered about this myself. He will stop at nothing to get money for his baykeeper empire and repeatedly cry foul just to further his political agenda and make a "name" for himself rather than actually doing something productive for the community he claims to care so much about. He is a bottom feeder. If he truly cared about his work, he would have worked on getting the money to clean up the property. Pete Knucklehead isn't interested is doing honest work and clean up our community and make things better.

So much for the rumors that the Gans tribe plays dirty. That cat's out of the bag.

Whipping up incoherent hatred against a local environmental organization with large, popular support is an act of desperation.

Let the martini-breath threats begin.

"Whipping up incoherent hatred against a local environmental organization with large, popular support is an act of desperation."

So just how large is this supposed support? Hard to tell since they don't publish their Board or any or their supporters names. Probably cause the only support they have is their paid litigation staff. NEC only claims 1,200 supporters and even then they don't have the names and addresses to back that up; Baykeeper is obviously far smaller than NEC. How many supporters could they possibly have? 50? 100? 200? Hardly broadbased. They are boutique litigation firm, nothing more, nothing less.

Shame to Mrs. Gans for not offering up full disclosure!. I don't know if she is an employee of The Arkley Conglomerate, but I do know/assume she is a relative of one of his key henchmen. Thus, this article and anything it says is meaningless.
I'm wondering Mrs. Gans, who cares what you think?

Unlike your hero Saltzman and his Baykeeper pals, Jenni Gans signs her real name to her letters and seems to avoid tresspassing. Besides have you seen Jenni? She's a total hottie.

"Shame to Mrs. Gans for not offering up full disclosure!"

How much more disclosure than signing her name do you want? Just another example of the double standard that the Baykeeper crowd hides behind. Everyone else has to clean up their land to higher than required standards while our toxic mess on the plaza sits for years with nothing done. Anyone who disagrees with our perspective is corrupt while our propagandists make up names to sign to letters. It doesn't matter what kind of lies we tell if we are "progressive" enough. I say enough with Pete Nichols and his band of lying sue happy lawyers. It is past time for reason to take back control of our county.

By the way Jenni really is hot and better yet she's honest and genuine, far more than the Baykeeper crowd can say for themselves.

Large, popular support? Maybe support from Pierson employees, the usual do-gooders fresh out of HSU,Jerks like Nichols, who need to get a real job. When the regular, hard working local citizens get together and say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH,you will see what support really is.

So Piersons' employess aren't, hard working local citizens? Get over yourself, Humboldt could get by just fine if you chose to move back to whatever damn "city" you came from.

Not everyone is well read enough or keeps up with local news to necessarily associate her as a relative of an Arkley henchman. A simple "In the interest of full disclosure..." would do the trick.
The same as if someone writes about health care reform and neglects to mention they sit on the BOD of an insurance company or something of that sort. We are better served to know that information up front rather than having to read between the lines or Google someone. This simply adds to the authenticity of the authors motive. Argue if you will, but this is true, regardless of Poly-tricks.

Baykeepers packs the house at its local fundraisers.

Where's Arkley's support-rallies, the "throngs" behind "Eureka Coalition for Jobs", "Humboldt Economic Land Plan", "Humboldt Sunshine"... and "Fill In The Blank"???

Just a highly paid attorney sitting in a massive Sacramento high-rise sharing High-Fives with RA and his paid lobbyist with her hand perpetually raised like rigormortis at every local housing and sewer meeting. And the development community drooling over the short-term profits generated from a failed model.

Big box stores devastate rural economies, just as remote subdivisions require unfunded infrastructure services.

If Arkley can continue cramming this down our throats, he will profit handsomely and the public will foot the bill.

All-the-rave on Wall Street.

He couldn't even run a bank without 147 violations.
And he's committed to a state-of-the-art cleanup?

The Security National family is obviously worried about the Baykeeper suit, and cheap shot name calling is their lone defensive strategy
Desperate times call for letters from the SN family. Are we going to hear from Arkley's daughters next week?
