Arcata to host hazardous waste collection

The Humboldt Waste Management Authority, or HWMA, will be collecting home-generated hazardous waste items Saturday, July 18, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at a collection event in Arcata at 1601 Samoa Blvd., two blocks west of K Street in the parking lot of the former Industrial Electric Service Company building.
