Too funny. As soon as the subject of freshness is brought up due to lack of customers, within seconds up pops a "customer" talking about how fresh things are. LOL! That's not TOO obvious. ROTFLMAO.

Maybe you should speak with the owner and find out what she does with the leftover cupcakes at the end of the day - You might be surprised….. Also I am sure that she would entertain any suggestions that you may have to improve her business and could possibly even add something to the menu, but I guess you will never know hiding behind Topix…….

You are getting so mean and nasty over honest feedback for the business. It's clear you are either the owner or someone very, very closely associated with "her." I have a good feeling I know who you are. I would have loved to have tried this again in a month or so, but absolutely won't now. And, I could care less what "she" does with her leftovers.

Maybe you can lecture others on giving honest feedback on a public forum when you quit using multiple names and changing your location with each one.

I don't feel that I was mean or nasty at all, just stating the facts. I can assure you that I am not the owner nor have I changed my name or location - my comment to you was my first post ever on Topix and most likely this will be my last. God Bless you and yours & I pray for continued success for the entire JavaCakes family. Don't let the burglary get you down, this too shall pass.

Sorry to read of the robbery. Hope whoever did that is or has been caught. No one deserves that. I hope the opening day was all the owner had hoped for and it does well.

I stopped in for breakfast and was disappointed. There was a very limited selection (a few muffins and a few cinnamon rolls). I stood at the counter for a few minutes because I was acknowledged by the girl behind the counter and she seemed annoyed when I asked her if they had anything else for breakfast. I would up leaving without ordering.

I do think the store was really cute and I like the atmosphere but I wasn't happy with the service or selection.
Staff was ultra friendly & helpful each time I've been there. Love the coffee & the salads, too. I'm glad we it here.

Finally, after trying at least four times, got to try their cupcakes, good, acceptable. Issue is I tried to go there on my way to work, at 0545-not open. Tried on a Sunday midday-not open, tried to go over the holidays, closed the week between Christmas and New Years. Went on Monday, 1/21/13, at 7:54 pm. Clerk had door locked, chairs up and looked at me from behind the counter, and did not acknowledge that I was pointing out it was not yet 8:00, same response when I drove to the drive through window, hoping she would provide me with service there. So, I will just continue to go to the Starbucks in Deer Park, which has appropriate coffe shop hours, open early, close late, and predictable. I am a big fan of supporting my local businesses, but this shop seems to want business during typical hours that everyone else is working, and has wasted my time trying to give them my business.
