Javacakes is really good. I like the cookies and creme cheese cake. My favorite drinks are the strawberry smoothie and chocolate milk (im not a coffee drinker but I heard the coffee is good).

I stopped in for breakfast and was disappointed. There was a very limited selection (a few muffins and a few cinnamon rolls). I stood at the counter for a few minutes because I was acknowledged by the girl behind the counter and she seemed annoyed when I asked her if they had anything else for breakfast. I would up leaving without ordering.

I do think the store was really cute and I like the atmosphere but I wasn't happy with the service or selection.

They did just open. The owner is probably working on new recipes.

They are not actually a "breakfast" shop. Though they do have a few things that would be considered breakfast food, that is not really what they are about. They are a gourmet coffee and dessert cafe. No donuts here. And what they do, they do VERY well.

We went in recently. Very disappointed. Just like many others said, very little choice of treats. I was in while my kids were getting haircuts and was beyond disappointed. I make more at Christmas than was in this shop. No customers were in there either and I have never seen any cars in the lot for them either. This will be belly up in a few months. Sad. I had high hopes for it.

The service was fine, almost too much. There were about 5 kids with not a single customer in the entire place. There were more employees than choices in the place. The employees were really trying to push anything they could on you. Too bad, nothing was appealing at all.

I stopped in last Friday. A few customers were in the shop. It was mid-morning and very few items to select from. I ordered a muffin and iced coffee. The muffin had great flavor but was small. The iced coffee was good. I am not a cheesecake fan but I will go back. The customer service is good but still in training. The girl was asking for my order before I even stepped up to the counter.

I believe those officers were investigating an incident at that location. So you are absolutely right. Tax dollars hard at work. Moron!

Not to mention the fact that a lot of these officers drive their cars home and could have either stopped by after working all night or on their way in. Before you bash the officers that risk their lives to protect you think about it first!

I popped in there and was a bit disappointed. There weren't any customers which always scares me with any eatery. You have to wonder how fresh things are when there is no turnover (no pun intended), but I was going to keep an open mind. I looked and didn't find anything I wanted from the extremely limited selection and politely left without buying anything. I don't know how one would expand their selection though. If you haven't the customers then the more you make, the more waste you would have.
