I will support one of them when they fix the child support system.I want for them to make it a law that a man does not have to pay when a woman tricks him into getting them pregnant, that woman new what they were doing and should be responsible for there own mistakes instead of taking it out on a man who believed the woman that was lying all along that she was on protection.

abbott definatley needs to go and i hope if a new elector makes changes in child support. wtf, you have to support a child at the age of 18 if she is still in school. that needs to change. at the age of 18 your no longer a child. stupid law.
sorry i dont agree. It is still a parents responsibility to help their child better themselves. or should be the parents willingness to do so. If that child were living with the parent they would still be helping so there is no difference. what would happen is the custodial parent would be left alone in financially helping the child. it is still both parents responsibility.

well to be equal there wouldn't be a non custodial parent, both parents would be considered custodial parents. if both agreed to live in same town they can share custody 6 months with one parent and 6 months with the other. both half the medical insurance and bills. i would agree with that and noone would have to pay child support. most of the time though a seperation is due to one of them wanting out therefore not wanting the responsibility so it is rare to see that. i have a friend who does this and it works great for them. but most men dont want that responsibility, having to worry bout daycare and not being able to go out and about freely.

I agree with you but at the same time it does need to be modified. My friends ex wife allowed her child to fail so that she could collect child support for another year. He even went as far as to let her know with plenty of time that she needed to stay on her daughter about her school work so she could pass. He is a great dad, he never misses a payment and stays involved in his children's lives. And yet the AG office always finds ways to stick it to him as if he is a dead beat dad. His daughter is 19 already and he is still paying child support.
