neighbor's party music

What is the level of radio music that we should be willing to tolerate as ok these days? Neighbors are having a party apparently - balloon bouncing thing in back yard, lots of plastic chairs unloaded, music already cranked up to where we hear it and FEEL it inside next door, and they've parked their own big trucks in their front yard, apparently preparing for lots of visiting vehicles. I'd be a little more understanding on a Friday or Saturday night, but we have to get up early for work tomorrow. Hubby says he ought to get speakers and crank up another type of music sometime to let them know how it feels, but I'm holding him back from that! Anyway, what is a level we'd have a RIGHT to complain about?! No this isn't the first thing with these neighbors, so I'm sure history affects our attitude. But we REALLY don't want to be "bad" neighbors ourselves and are trying to "accept" many things as inevitable. Other neighbors feel the same way we do. Tho I actually feel quilty for resenting the loud music. Young family enjoying life is a good thing. Just wish we didn't have to hear it. LOL I think I'd at least be AWARE of neighbors if it was reversed. Anyway what are YOUR limits?

If they're mexicans don't bother calling BPD. They are on their payroll!

Fire 3 warning shots, with a large bore handgun, into the air. If that don't work, send a round or two through the fence (careful not to hit anyone above the waist). That should fix the problem.

If you can hear it in your house then it's too loud. If you want to be good neighbors, go over to the party and tell them that the music is so loud that you can "feel" it in your house. If they don't respond positively, then you no longer have an obligation to be good neighbors. Call the police.

get a pump up sprayer-- spray them all down with de-greaser-- they will disolve, that should solve the problem. but please block off any drains that might get the run off in them, we have too much oil in the waters now.

you are right they will dissolve. There will be nothing left but a pile of beans.
