So, who's going to go up against Mouton and reveal him for what he really is?... a puppet.
One thing I can predict, there won't be any new ideas or direction if Mouton becomes mayor. We'll see the same old crap we've been putting up with under the current "leadership."
I don't know which would be worse, Mouton or Burke. I would say it's a draw.
I agree.

Criss Richey is he running for Mayor? Mayor is backing Mouton and not Criss, that tell me they got crossway with each other.

It's not "Mouton's Seat," it's Position 1.

Richey isn't any better than Mouton.
In fact, the primary reason he even holds onto his council position is due to his loyal congregation voting for him, which is like sheep being led by the wolf.

We actually need someone that knows the difference between operating on taxpayers wallets and making the tough choices that must be made in operating a fiscally responsible city budget.

Golf Course compared to the swimming pool, senior center, and etc., this makes it OK to lose money at the golf course. That statment makes me sick its our money they are losing at the golf course.

I was told Jeff Pound was going to run for mayor. I would vote for him if he does!He is the only one I have seen in a long time that stood by his word when he was in office. At least he always quiestioned spending.

Pounds may have questioned spending, but can someone tell me how many times he opposed such spending and how many times he went along with the others and voted for it?

We can ask questions all day long. Mouton or Pound? The answer is crystal clear. I say Jeff for Mayor!

Yes, I asked a reasonable question.
It also stands as a very valid question.
It was also in response to one that indicated Pounds always questioned spending.
It would be quite interesting if someone would/could answer it.

Of course, we often have to make our choice on the lesser of two evils. However, that doesn't make it much better.

I would prefer someone that isn't necessarily swayed by others... just to get along. There's a big difference in questioning something and using your own judgment to do the right thing versus appearances... the latter is just called politicking.

I have a feeling he won't be swayed and I think his first order of business will be to balance our budget. He is very conservative and I have faith he will lead DP in a great direction, day 1, if elected.

I will respectfully refrain from giving a synopsis.

I am glad JP is running. I like having a choice. It should NEVER be a given imo.
