A judge has ordered Marlowe Munoz to be granted a merciful death. Hospital officials argued woman's body had to remain on a respirator until her badly deformed fetus reached so called age of viability. Her family has been fighting for justice for Marlowe and they may have it by Monday.

The hospital was only abiding by Texas law when they refused to remove the life support because the woman was 23 Weeks pregnant. They have since determined the fetus is severely deformed and likely not to survive. The judge just did the right thing.

Look outside Elaine hell has frozen over. We agree on something, for the most part. The hell freezing over would have been better said early Friday morning.

Eventually common sense prevails after much suffering by the family. Sometime laws must be tempered by common sense and that is what the court system is for. I do not believe in the use of this case as president for another case in the future. Good judgement sometimes lets the possibility of establishing president stand in the way.

Unfortunatly common sense hasn't actually prevailed; Dewhurst and the other three running for Lt. Governer say the judge got it wrong. A deformed baby should have been born to a dead mother according to those four. They all want to shove their opinions up our backside, they care not one iota about any feelings other than their own. In the case of Lt. Governer I will not vote for the Republican nominee, no matter which one it is.

You would not have voted for a Republican nominee under any circumstances. You are way too liberal with your total support of Obama and his left wing socialist policies. Even though you sometimes present yourself as an conservative, you still spout government control and heavy regulation of business and robbing the rich to give to the government.

You are at the bottom of the food chain and you envy every man and woman who has achieved success. You want to break and humiliate every prosperous hard working citizen in the US. Your motto: "If I can't have it, they cant have it!"

IOwa! I would never call him a liberal. I would call him someone who doesn't blindly follow others. He actually can make a decent argument for his opinions. He and I disagree on most things, but I see that he calls them like he sees them ,unlike some of the "tea party" posters who "seem" to be so blinded by "hatred" that they tow the party line without a second thought.

My apologies to Texan for this post. I know it will just draw ire from other posters.

No apology needed fubar, you just need to understand that Elaine is a mean, and hateful woman who hates everyone that she deems below her station. If she believes I support Obama you can add stupid to her description. I have a very good job making a very good living, I own my home, my car, my truck, horse trailer, and horses. Neither myself nor my animals miss any meals. I enjoy my horses and life in general. If that makes me a hater and at the bottom of the food chain; OH WELL!

What a piece of work you are "Elaine".... I bet you think you are more intelligent, better educated, healthier, wealthier, and above everyone else..... and then you provably go and call yourself a Christian.... Well, if so, you would be wrong on all those accounts.
I am a former republican who now votes independently of party affiliation. I have however voted democrat on the last several elections.
No, I'm not poor or uneducated. I also happen to be white. I own a business that employs 40+ people from all walks of life. I oppose abortion, but respect women's right to choose.
So you see Elaine, not everyone that disagrees with you is poor, a minority, or some other "beneath your station" thing.
I strongly disagree with you. You are a bully that hides behind your postings and have no idea why you take the stands you do other than it is what the republican tea party talking heads tell you to think and say.
I see your postings and invariably I see the negativity you spew. I would heartedly recommend you open a Bible or whatever your religions appropriate book is and study it.
The current republican candidates for office are all of the mind of "life at any cost" and their anti-abortion stance ignores the conditions of the mother or the fetus, yet they are not willing to do anything for the thousands upon thousands of children and families that are homeless and or go hungry every day.
I urge you to re-read your postings and pray that God guides you in the future.
NO, I'm not going to go into a big debate or post again. I have work to do. Employees and clients, and my family, depend on me to do a good job, so to work I go.

Wow! Thank you for your awesome post.

I am a bit perplexed about how you found yourself ranting about the poor, minorities and republicans. If you read ALL of my posts, you will see that the only poor people I criticize are those that refuse to help themselves or are criminals. I never criticize minorities unless they are criminals and deadbeats. I have never claimed any party affiliation.

I only mention my wealth in the context of the rewards for hard work and sacrifice. However, you may have confused your envy of my prosperity with me thinking I'm better than others.

You see, you seem to reject prosperity as a bad thing to allow you to rationalize your failures. That is, "rich people are crooks, so, I'm not a crook because I'm broke". In reality, you haven't put in the commitment to reap the rewards that prosperous people have.

I had lasik on my eyes today.$5200 out of pocket. I earned it and I saved it. I spent it on myself, because I deserve it.

Yep. Elaine is all about trashing everyone else and telling us she's rich. I bet she's counting her nickels and dimes right now to see if she can pay her rent. LOL
Seriously, every post by "Elaine" is about how smart and better that everyone she thinks she is and how dumb and poor the rest of us are.
I work for a living. Maybe Im not rich like Elaine, but I make fair money (than you Shell) and have a good retirement to look forward in a couple of years.
I don't like Obama, not because he's black. I just don't like politicians. I don't like the repubs either. Ted Cruz is an AHole. They all lie and would throw their own mother under the bus to promote themselves.
Elaine, shame on you for being such a b*tch to everyone.

So then you agree with me that hard work and sacrifice will make you comfortable in your retirement, not government handouts.

I never posted that I am rich. There is nothing wrong with being rich if you EARNED it. I don't post that anyone is dumb unless they demonstrate their stupidity in their posts.

Read my posts literally. My whole message is work hard, save your money, raise your kids right, live well. I also preach to keep your hands out of my pocket and deadbeats don't deserve my help. Nothing bitchy about that. That's just living a responsible life.

However many people can't control their envy. If they can't have it, no one else deserves it.. Perhaps you should reexamine your emotions.

There is nothing wrong with being rich at all , as long as you didn't lie ,steal or cheat in every sense of those words. It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle, than it is, for a rich man to gain the gates of heaven. Wealth can be either a blessing or a curse or even a mixture of both.

I had the procedure Thursday morning. I could see better when I left the office. By 5:00 PM. I could see without my glasses. It even improved by reading sight. It's still clearing up a little every day.

I recommend it for anyone who can afford to pay for it themselves.

Of course i do! I have good health, self confidence, a good reputation among many, many great friends and a solid retirement account.

Greed is when you desire to earn material things. There is nothing wrong with greed if you don't hurt others to get what you want. Envy is when you don't want others to have the things that they earned. Your envy is obvious.
