Well that's fine if those idiots have more money than they know what to do with. They can just write a check to whomever they want so they can mindlessly flush their money down the drain but leave me the hell out of it!

I bet the Teachers that live in Deer Park are being told who to vote for as well by their liberal leader Adair. He propbably promised them a raise next year in return. Hope they don't hold their breath.

Yes, the cost of the after school program is very inexpensive compared to surrounding areas but what makes it even worse is that it's FREE for select Parks & Rec employees, just check it out! No wonder there's a lack of funds!

I guess you didn't get the memo Bill.
Mouton has basically been appointed mayor(watch and see) and you CAN expect more taxes.
“Governments, if they endure, always tend increasingly toward aristocratic forms. No government in history has been known to evade this pattern. And as the aristocracy develops, government tends more and more to act exclusively in the interests of the ruling class -- whether that class be hereditary royalty, oligarchs of financial empires, or entrenched bureaucracy.”

then its important to vote to squash the appointed one, make sure to turn out the vote to make sure he is rejected at the tolls.

Who is out trying to get more to vote. If the same ones that voted last time are the main core of voters this time, why even count the votes. Have not seen anything concerning Jeff or Larry except a few signs.

Well if your scenario holds true then why did Burke get his behind kicked by Rae? The voters are seeing the light and they are going to wake up as obvious from the last election. In fact, I'm told the Ms. Cobb will not seek election on the next cycle, gee, I guess she sees a new beginning as well and does not want to be beat like Burke did.

So go peddle you BS to someone that listens to you. Massive signs by Mouton will not alone secure a win. Soon he will be exposed for what he is.

So Rae beat Burke and she was you choice. And the voters saw the light for all the winners which I suppose was you choice as well. All winners in the last election made you happy because the voters saw the light for all.
I remember getting a mailing or two almost every week from Rae. I believe that she put forth a lot of effort and money to get elected. The only mailing I have seen this election is from Jerry. Not one from Larry or Jeff. If you want to use the label BS, then I guess that everything you had to say about your choices that ended up being losers in the past was BS.
Maybe you are right and one can get elected with just s few signs posted in a few yards and along the roadways. As for Cobb not seeking another term I would guess that the reason is not as you think. But let me ask you, is that the reason that you have not run again, meaning your fear of losing? Now maybe I will knock on a few more doors to try to drum up some more votes for Jerry.

Not running again question. No, when Wayne Riddle and Denton McDugle asked me to run years ago I told them I would run, but if I didn't win, I would not run again. Years later I did actually run and as you know I was defeated and I've kept my word.

That is more than I can say about others. I might add that Councilwoman Cobb said no more apartments in Deer Park and then voted for one. I guess some peoples words mean nothing. But that is nothing new for the machine and their puppets. Glad you brought that up. Someone who talks about integrity sure seems, IMO, that they lack a lot. Just my observation from their actions, my opinion. You can spin it however you choose.

Losing and walking away with my integrity intact is far greater than winning and being someones puppet, rubber stamp with little if any integrity.

Attack me all you want with your BS, I don't really give a crap about what you have to say. Have a nice evening.

No attach intended. You were the first to refer to "BS". You must think most everyone speaks "BS" but you, I guess. Never understood why posters have to use such words, including crap, to get their over. IMO, if one uses it here, one probably uses it in public.
