A sweet little Shih Tzu wandered into my garage Sunday evening, obviously lost. We took it in and will house it until the rightful owner claims the pooch. It has no collar or ID. If you or someone you know is missing this cute little dog, please post a description here, wherein we can establish a line of communication.
The dog is in good hands, so don't worry about the pound picking it up on the street.

In case anyone else is looking for a couple of cute dogs... Someone abandoned two puppies at Prince's roller rink last night and my wife couldn't resist picking them up. So she has got them in our backyard and I "mentioned" that we are not keeping them and if she cant give them away within the next couple of days she needs to call the SPCA.

I saw an ad for a missing shih tzu but now I can't remember where I saw it. I'll try to think.

Animal Clinic of LP, across from the airport, has a folder of lost/found animals on their counter. One of them is a shih tzu. Maybe you could call them and see if it's a match.

Also notify the shelter. They dont have to pick it up but will steer the owner to you if called.

Would not hurt to take it to the animal shelter or a vet and have it check for a chip.

I saw a lost dog poster hanging up; if you still have this dog I will give you the number that was on the poster. Please let me know.

Let the LP and DP Police Dept. know also, citizens do call them on weekends to report lost animals.
