lately on my 500 acres on the san jacinto river, i have seen HUGE snakes. like the ones seen on tv from florida. about 2 months ago, i saw a huge snake with his head up out of the water. about 2 weeks ago a man that walks due to a heart condition, walked out of the woods off a pipeline, and told me he was finished walking in there. he had seen a snake he said was at least 14 foot. he was quite shaken by the encounter. today sunday nov 14, I personally and with a friend as a witness saw a BOA at least 10 foot laying on a log in my bass pond. the snake i saw 2 months ago was way bigger than this 10 foot one. and if you think they are not here, look on your computer at suitable habitat areas for these snakes.--it includes all the southern half of the gulf coast states, all of florida, and the southern half of texas. east texas is considered ideal habitat.

IDIOTS-we live just a short distance from the largest city in the south--HOUSTON- people buy these snakes as pets ,when they are small, when they get too big ,they turn them loose. it is just as warm here as florida, it is ideal habitat for these snakes, if you are so convinced, I will let you swim in the pond where I have seen the snakes.
