Great food. I have been in there a few times now and I have to say, the food is great but the owner is sooo unprofessional. She throws temper tantrems in front of customers and can make you feel very uncomfortable...not how I want to feel when I go somewhere to eat. What a shame...its kind of a cool little place.

They just can't get it together down there and believe the service is what it is supposed to be. I keep going back expecting something different. Guess that makes me the insane one . I hoped they would make it but the summer season is coming and I believe they will go under

I'm very happy they are here, and I've loved there food and coffee. Excellent wine choices. Service has always been very good, when I can get in, several times they have been too crowded to be seated. I would like to see them expand into the old tearoom building next door. I think they bring a lot to Main St. and I wish them great success.

There's nothing wrong with that place you douche bag. I go there all the time and it's like any other restaurant. Some days the service is not so good but most are. I've never been to one of my favorite restaurants without having a few bad waitresses/waiters etc. The owners are great people and their place is really nice. So, stop being a douche bag.

Thanks.
I have been meaning to visit Mainly Drinks but the one time I went it was too crowded for my taste. Maybe they will expand, as I saw someone else posted that they might.

I've been to Mainly Drinks 4 times in as many weeks. As a frequenter of many restaurants ( my business requires that I take clients to lunch or dinner) I must say this is one of the nicest restaurants in the surrounding area. I've met the owner personally and she is very nice and very professional. The service was on par ( not the best but far from the the worse ) for a restaurant of this size. The food was outstanding.

I have been to Mainly Drinks on many occasions and have been treated great from the time I opened the door until the time I left. The chef visited my table several times and the food was great. I think it is important that we get behind our local businesses and support them. Our little community has alot to offer but we need to join in their efforts. Great job to the entire staff......

Some people can't stand success. I applaud Mainly Drinks. They took a chance on La Porte and they are being rewarded with business. Congratulations.

We went and loved it. We've been four times. It's got warm and inviting decor and the owner, Deb?, came over and spoke with us and gave us samples of things and we enjoyed some wonderful wine and meal. We have had wonderful service and an enjoyable time every time we went.

Went there for the 1st time Saturday night, had a drink, meal and listened to the bamd that was playing. Food was great, but they did not have the beer I selected from the menu. Was given a recommendation for a similar pale ale and it was a good. Service wasn't excellent, but it was what i would call good. We will go back when the opportunity arises.

We dipped in for an appetizer and hot chocolate while antiquing and enjoyed it. There was no band when we went, but I loved the ambiance and the service was great. The food was too! We'll definitely be back.

I have been 2 times now and I tried to order 3 different beers off their menu, in which they said they do not carry anymore(So take them off the menu already).

Then this last trip we ordered an appetizer, but were out of yellowfin tuna. Ok...so then its time to order the dinner entree and order it and what do you know, they were out of the meat that was on the entree. Pretty F'n Ridiculous!!! I love the beer selections, but just redo the menu, so it doestn take 15 mins to find another beer.

Well back again at the request of friends. Haven't been in there since last April. What is with these people. We sat in the very front table and the service was deplorable. Two ladies sat beside us and had to go to the bar to get their drinks. If you can't keep up with your business let someone else run it.

I hope that the lawyer, failed politician, Sunday school teacher / and owner does not expand and move. She cost us taxpayers $125,000 for the unneeded traffic light in front of her store. She wanted it to stop traffic so they could see her business. She bamboozled whacky councilman Tommy Mosher to convince the rest of the spend happy council to let her have her way. She also high pressured the city fathers to change the city ordinance so she could sell booze there. What a hyrocrite. Her lifestyle is not consistent with any church tenants except at her brand of church.

Your comment is not correct and very unfair. The traffic light at 2nd St. was removed by TXDOT many years ago. Not having pedestrian safety at 2nd St. has been very hazardous and has prevented customers from safely patronizing all of the businesses at this intersection. The requests from business owners for the traffic light to be put back predates Mainly Drinks. Planning for it was done before Mainly Drinks opened, and though Debra did speak out in support of the light being returned to Main St., it was not put there specifically for her. Other business owners lobbied for that traffic light to be put there too.

That Mainly Drinks offers alcohol is no different than other establishments on Main St. that offer alcohol. Main St. Station, El Ranchero, Main 101, and others to name a few. Your other comments reflect some personal attitude you have and are cowardly.
