According to someone that always thinks he's the all-knowing, the savior of the community, says that serving in the Military does not qualify you as a Patriot.

Per Webster's Dictionary:

Main Entry: pa·tri·ot·ism
Pronunciation:\ˈp ā-trē-&# 601;-ˌti-zəm , chiefly British ˈpa-\
Function: noun
Date: circa 1726
: love for or devotion to one's country

Anyone wanting to set him straight?

A patriot is someone who devotes their life to the betterment of their country... with less concern for themselves and are more concerned with preserving the life and liberty of his or her fellow countrymen.

A patriot does not seek nor ask for compensation for his or her services... but steps up and volunteers them free of charge and without a drive to enrich themselves more than the self gratifying reward of devotion and love he or she feels within themselves for doing what they do.

A patriot will not seek to destroy or diminish the efforts of his or her fellow patriots... but will add to them and support their drive.

If you had ever served you would know you aren't going to get rich in the military. When I enlisted and I did enlist, not drafted, it was to serve my country. Viet Nam was not popular and while I was not sent there I was still called baby killer, spit at and treated with disrespect when wearing my uniform, a far cry from how we treat our men and women in uniform now. My compensation was about enough to cover basic needs, you know food, a place to stay: BASICS! I didn't have a rich Mommy to furnish my needs, and narcotics. I would not destroy or diminish the efforrts of a fellow Patriot; but you are not a Patriot, you are a liar, ego maniac, and a false prophet.

Patriotism should not even be allowed to pass your cowardly, lying, pos lips!!!!

My brother, Retired Army, Firrst Sergeant, Spec 8,, is 54 years old. If he sees 60 he'll be very fortunate! He has been places and seen things that you would never imagine. Putting his life on the line for the safety and welfare of our country. Things that the general public does not and will not ever know about!

HOW DARE YOU talk about patriotism and being in the Military not constituting Patriotism! Go back to the slime pit you came from before you get your ass kicked because you have crossed the line and have now said some fighting words!

Like I said, serving in the military does not qualify you as a Patriot.

It just makes you a complicated drone.
