7. Presentation Final draft of the Parks, Recreation and Open Space Master Plan

How many times have we heard about budget problems, not enough money? How far will they take property taxes? Something has to give. The last master plan for Dow Park was between 5 & 7 MILLION $$$$$$$$$$ Get ready for a white knuckle ride, especially if the DPISD is allowed to have their election side by side with the approaching city election!

A report of the Heritage Park as well. Now that is one expensive multi layered project!

Hopefully this election will produce leaders, and no clowns. I support Jeff Pound for Mayor, who is a TRUE leader, and Mrs. Garrison. Her husband would be so proud. I SO respected him as he encouraged me years ago to continue to speak my mind and never waiver. I am also supporting Mr. Harrison, as he listens to the citizens. I am waiting on who will file for Position 3. Stay tuned...

It's apparent you flunked American History in that private school. Would you like to show us where the Founding Fathers said the new government would provide for the people by taxing them? BTW, Marx was not one of the Founding Fathers of this country.

I thought you were just a little off. Now I realize you're dumb as dirt!
How in the hell do you think a lot of your fellow BHO supporters live?
I'll go ahead and help you, it's called welfare! "Something you get for nothing"

I told poo-breath, pull your head out and study your history.

Until 1913, there were only two times that income taxes were imposed... 1861-1872 due to the Civil War and the Wilson-Gorman Tariff of 1894, until the income tax provision was struck down in 1895 by the U.S. Supreme Court.

Also note:
The Socialist Labor Party advocated a graduated income tax in 1887.
The Populist Party advocated a graduated income tax" in its 1892 platform.
The Democratic Party advocated the income tax law passed in 1894 and proposed an income tax in its 1908 platform.

Can you see where this comes from... or better yet, where it's going? I didn't think so.

Of course, when Roosevelt began implementing the welfare system that was primarily meant to be TEMPORARY assistance, the Socialist, Communist and Populist parties appeared to almost disappear, as they enjoined the Democrat party to promote their views.

Watch for more to come... better yet, WAKE UP.

I never said I learned this in HS history. However, you're the one that claims to have attended a private school, which propelled you into such a grand profession in a refinery. One would think that they would have taught you something about American History, but you continue to do nothing but demonstrate your sheer stupidity.
