I AGREE!!! It's funny how the same group of employees go to these Incode conferences. When almost every department utilizes Incode. There are several new employees in City Hall. Makes you wonder...In the private sector we would get an instructor to come onsite and teach those that needed it. We would be out of business in no time if we had to send our employees out of state for training.
Paying travel for 1 - 2 instructors is a heck of a lot cheaper then paying travel for an entire group. Plus, you get the added benefit of one on one training.

How about First Class seats on airlines?

So what are you saying, more employees should be sent to the conferences? Or are you saying new employees that have little experience with Incode would be the ideal people sent to learn of the updates? In my opinion, the people that understand the ins and outs of incode should be versed on the updates and come back to share with others. I do agree that a bigger variety of people should be sent. It shouldn't be the same 4 or 5 people each year. But it is up to each director to decide whom attends.
