California's prisons are overcrowded and most non violent felons do their time in jails. They are being forced,by the courts, to release most people after just a fraction of their sentences.
Possession of less than 4oz is a $100 ticket, even for repeat offenders.
My guess is guilt by association. Most likely one of the Nobel Prize winners that he hangs around with is into some serious dealing and theft.

Either that or he stole some really expensive cabinets.

No Dyan, everyone wants to take a victory lap after suffering through your son for the past four years. This forum has been held hostage to your degenerate son, and everyone wants to get a pound of flesh.

As mayor, Charles Gilliam would have made Rob Ford look like Norman Malone.

Heard La Porte is having him brought back here, for trial.

That would be very foolish. He would get little to no time and then we would be stuck with him.

maybe the feds that paid him a visit-- had something to do with the arrest.

Interesting possibility. I bet a thousand dollars he got himself classified as a homosexual and got on a medical ward. He would fake a heart attack if need be. Million dollars says that he ends up in protective custody. Snitches are not popular in jail. Maybe Dyan will put some money on his books so he can pay protection money. LA County jail, if anything like Harris County, is not for the weak of heart.

His charge is 1551.1
which is:
Proceedings Against Fugitives From Justice.
He is being held upon reasonable information that he stands charged in the courts of any other state.

http://www.shouselaw.com/extradition-out.html

Says here, it's an arrest for extradition to another state. Did Texas go after him or did he steal some cabinets in Colorado?

Better go make some popcorn.

It would be a huge mistake to bring him back here.

1. It would cost a lot of money to bring him back.

2. He is only going to get a slap on the wrist, maybe six months jail time.

3. He is going to be required to stay in Harris County on probation.

4. A year from now, all the will be over for him, except probation he he will have nothing to do except sue people and cause problems for La Porte.

Best we can do is hope that he has some other charges somewhere else. LP will rue the day they bring him back over some cabinets.

Everything went back to his lifestyle. That is the part most people missed. He was in California because he could be "himself" without having his family find out.

Hope that SOB gets his ass beat while he's in there... Deserves every bit of pain and suffering his cell mates can dish out. Bet he is a lot quieter in that cell than he is in here. None of that LaPorte corruption talk going on...
