Please wait...
Bobby should be punished for his bad choices of stealing cars etc.He was not thinking straight when he was speeding etc with other people in the car.Even tho they were in there willing he is still at fault.I do think he should have to go to jail for ay least ten years or more.He could have also hit some one else with a family. The railroad was not at fault.

I am a close friend of the davis family it is so tragic that 4 young lives was lost. The davis family are good people and bobby is the most kind and caring kid you could meet. All the kids made a choice that night to get in the car and it went terrible, but to say that bobby murderd his own brother and friends is wrong. I stand behind the family. Some people say that if he was not speeding then maybe it would not have happend but that train was still there just sitting. And i am a mother of 6 and was young once to how many times has went joy riding when they were young alot. It could have happend to me or any on of us. It was an accsident.. They families all lost and the davis family has not had time to grieve for there son that died. First they had to bury there son and try to save bobbys live and now his freedom. He already has a lfe sentence the fact that he was maybe the driver and he will never see his little brother again and maybe never be with his other little brother or sister, and family. They miss him so much his little brother needs him depply he has no big brother to talk to or play or laugh with. And my heart goes out to the other families that lost there loved ones but putting bobby away wont change it.

Maybe Bobby should have thought about that before getting behind the wheel of a stolen car. Maybe Bobby should have thought about that before endangering the lives of his brother and 4 of his friends. Maybe Bobbby should have thought about that crossbuck signal and the train tracks. Maybe Bobby should have thought about all that before he murdered his brother and 3 of his friends.

Shame on Bobby Davis and his family for hiring an ambulance chasing attorney in order to get big bucks from the railroad. Bobby Davis was involved in stealing two vehicles and directly responsible for killing four people. Bobby and the family need to quietly accept responsibility. As they say, "Don't do the crime if you can't do the time." And don't tell me he didn't know that what he was doing was a crime as he got behind the wheel of the second car stolen that night.

This was an "accident" that happened in the commission of a CRIME! Jeez, what do you people think stealing two vehicles is - acceptable behavior?

First off yes, Bobby AND the others all made a mistake... just because Bobby was the driver it doesn't mean he purposly murdered his own brother, girlfriend, and friends. THINK ABOUT IT. Put yourself in his place and imagine how his family feels. Ya'll all want to make harsh remarks and say what he deserves but dont stop and THINK! CONSIDERATION PEOPLE,, CONSIDERATION.. and yes, im also aware that he stole a car.. a i agree he should be punished for that, but NOT MURDER. C'mon people.

Bobby Davis is the kind of person who thought he didn't have to follow the rules. With proper supervision and teaching right from wrong, we wouldn't have the situation we have. Yes, he deserves to spend time in jail, why shouldn't he ?

Perhaps stealing cars is OK for trailer park trash, but it is not acceptable behavior in the civilized world. That white trash punk murdered four people through his wreckless actions. PS - You illiterate trailer trash need to learn how to spell.

Bobby did not intentionally murder 4 people. He killed 4 people who were not completely innocent. They knew the car was stolen, they left home without permission and were all on the joy ride together. I agree he needs to face punishment for his actions. But putting him in prison for murder will only make him a better criminal. You can punish him for stealing the cars but him living with the consequences of killing four friends, one of which was his brother will be with him for the rest of his life. I do not think putting a murder charge on him will teach him to do better. A charge of vehicular manslaughter is a better charge. He needs to be rehabilitated and taught to live right within the law. He has only to answer to God for his actions in the long run. The blood of his friends and brother are on his hands, and nothing we do to him will or can change that. He has to want to change.

I guess we all saw how much he wanted to change when he was brought back into custody for violating the judge's orders when he was released into the custody of his family. He didn't seem too concerned about the regulations that the judge issued, nor did his family.
