Was this another Arcata resident or a transient?

Of the fox put-down, how many were actually autopsied to determine if they in fact had rabies or not? PETA maybe interested.

I am surprised there isn't a revolt by left-wing animal right activists in Humboldt. They don't care if someone gets bitten & infected by rabies...their agenda is purely to protect "poor defenseless animals." Get real. Shoot the foxes!

Are they sending them off to be tested for Rabies?

Perhaps the foxes are eating rats that have
been exposed to poison.

Yes they are, and they are turning up positive, testing is done at Humboldt State

Just where are these infested fox's coming from? How are they getting sick with rabies? Thanks for the tips on fox avoidance.

The politically 'aware' population is the host of the virus. The rabid fox was probably bitten by an infected individual at an activist potluck.
