YOU TRIED TO GET A FREEBEE FROM THE YOUNG MAN STANDING BEHIND THE COUNTER. HE WAS VERY NICE TO YOU AND I REMEMBER HE TOLD YOU TO BRING THE RECEIPT AND THEN HE WILL EXCHANGE IT FOR YOU. ITS A DISGRACE THAT WE WORK FOR THE SAME AIRLINE. DONT LISTEN TO HIM THIS PLACE IS A GOOD AND POPULAR SPOT. THE ONLY THING IS THIS GUY TRIED TO PULL A FAST ONE ON THEM. I ALWAYS PURCHASE MY GADGET THEIR AND I AM A SATISFIED CUSTOMER. ALL OF THE FLIGHT ATTENDANTS FORGET THEIR ITEMS AT THE HOTELS OR HOME AND EXPECT GADGET EXPRESS TO LET THEM BORROW THEIR MERCHANDISE........ THANKS TO PEOPLE LIKE YOU THEIR NO REFUND POLICY.

Me too. I bought ISP110 speakers for my iphone. They charged me $140 saying I was saving $30. Later I find out that the exact speakers go for $20 (or even less on Amazon). What a rip. The airport should shut this ripoff artist down as it hurts the honest retailers. i'M NOT BUYING AT THIS AIRPORT AGAIN UNTIL THIS GUY IS GONE.
The only posts here that say the store is a good one are posts by their relatives. What liars they are.

I WAS AT THE AIRPORT WHEN I SAW THIS GADGET EXPRESS STORE, AND I FIGURED OUT I FORGOT MY CHARGER FOR MY LAPTOP AT HOME. THE GENTLEMAN HELPED ME OPEN THE CHARGER AND TESTED IT FOR ME. HE MAD SURE BEFOR I LEFT HIS STAND THATI WAS TAKING CARE OF. HE EVEN CHARGED MY PHONE FOR FREE. IT WAS FAIR PRICED AND THEY HAVE GREAT SERVICE WILL SHOP AGAIN THRER GO GADGET EXPRESS. I TOTALY UNDERSTAND THE REFUND POLICY U HAVE ALOT OF BORROWERS OUT THERE OR SHOULD I SAY OR SCAMMERS LOOKING FOR A FREE LUNCH. A+ IN MY BOOK

This place is the worst place to shop for electronics and should be shut down. Firstly the prices are way too high, you can get anything you find there, cheaper and of better quality at Brookstonewhich is at a distance of not more than 20 yards from that lousy place. Secondly no prices written on any of their products, they expect us to I guess view and assume the price and pay them blindly. I would never step at a distance of 30 feet from that kiosk.

I'm adding to this review as I appreciate the feedback it gave me. My husband bought a WD hard drive from the store in a hurry, at christmas. He didn't check the price and just paid. He paid 185 for a drive that we could buy in the UK for 60. I contacted store by phone and the manager refunded me $60 to my card as a good will gesture. I apprecciate that but it's still 110 more than even the most expensive retail outlet in uk for that item. I'm not sure the refund was made just to make me go away as I was quite persistent!
There are no prices on goods and I urge you to check that prices are fair before you buy from the store. A small airport mark up is Ok but 3x the price is crazy.
It's our own fault we paid through the nose but buyers beware!

I am appalled by the customer service provided by this kiosk. Firstly no price written on any of their products and the customer service person feel insulted when we ask for the price. For something worth 15$ in most stores they were charging 40$ and they actually feel surprised when we try to negotiate or ask price for other brands of the same product.
Most rude and grouchy people run this place; some one please put customers out of their misery by shutting this place down.

IF YOU LOOK AT ALL THE GOOD REVIEWS, ITS COMING FROM SOMEONE IN STATEN ISLAND, NY. HINT: THE PEOPLE THAT WORKS THERE ARE WRITING FAKE REVIEWS BECAUSE THEY ARE THE OWNERS. AND YOU GUYS ARE RIGHT. Gadget shop in Newark Liberty terminal C.
Total rip off and rude 'service'.

Asking for a price on Ipad3 32gb the sales guy quoted USD982! My fault, but I remarked that this is almost double up on street retail price.
This seemingly offended the guy who started arguing that I should speak to him politely and he kept on throwing comments on how rude I was!! Facts doesn't seem to go down well with this guy.

He tried to explain that the reason why his Ipads were so expensive, was that this could be used internationally and others bought at high street couldn't. What a heap of bull!

Surprised that an airport would accept to have such a bunch of crocks inside a secure area!

Price gouging at its worse. My fault, I bought a camera in the store without looking elsewhere first. I should have gone online with my phone but I was in a hurry and the owner took advantage of my wife and myself. Also, the receipt states "No Return Policy" which should have flagged me that the place is a rip off.
"How much is that camera?"
"$199"
??? MSRP is $99.
Don't shop here, it's a scam.

I am not sure why this site is loaded with negative comments about Gadget Express. Per my experience with the store and staff, I was very satisfied as the Manager/employee explained to me everything about the product and the advantage and disadvantage of shopping in an airport location vs. the internet which we all know is less than a regular store. It's unfair to accuse these people of ripping off customers as I never experienced it during my store visit. Yes, my purchase was $179 but it was a bundle purchase as they would suggest additinal accessories that I was very happy with. People will say I am on drugs or what's this person is smoking but let's be fair with this business owner as it really damages the image of the store and the airport. I ran my own business myself and would never ripoff people as what most of your comments are. I have high regards for the Management and staff of this store and whoever manages the stores of this airport. I am a visiting tourist from Agana, Guam. Thank you.

I was ripped off too by this place totally disgusting, the guy said the head phones I bought were state of art,$299 dollars and they sell for $179, he even made out he was giving staff discount, what a total rip off merchant.
Totally disgusted, please stay away from this shop. I felt like crying, it took the shine off the special purchase surprise I was making for my husband.

Strongly disagree this shop it is a total rip off, these guys are fleecing genuine people, it's disgusting! You must be the employee pretending to be a customer as that would be the only positive feedback from this shop coming from those who own it!
