Marela, an undocumented immigrant in her 40s, stood outside the Elizabeth Detention Center in Elizabeth, N.J., on a chilly afternoon last week.

If the criminals would stop violating immigration laws by entering the country ILLEGALLY then none of this would have happened. There would be no such jails for the criminals, Americans would have been cleaning that office building, the children would still be with their mother, and the criminal would not feel compelled to stand outside the jail on such a chilly day protesting.

This lady's situation is sad and unfortunate,I will say that much. The pray her children are doing well and that they realize and understand the situation their mother created for herself by coming here illegally.
She knew the consequences for her actions. She knew we have laws and the chances of getting deported were there.
Yes, the corporations/Detention Centers for illegal aliens make huge profits(mostly from hardcore criminals from Mexico,e.g.child molesters/rapists and murderers until they are shipped bigger/secured facilities).
Like I said and most will agree,it is unfortunate,but we have Laws.
If she would of been an illegal in Mexico it would of been much worse.
