Fireworks will be held at dusk Thursday at Weiss Field in Avon Lake. Rain date is Saturday.

Why, when the 4th of July is on a Friday (weekend night) can we not for once, have the fireworks on the actual holiday?

Loved the wonderful display that Avon Lake had this year. Kudos to Avon Lake!
