Is this the same Herman Johnson who sold the developer the land and got the city of Waveland sued for millions?

Say What... Gina doesn't make any sense. Is this the same Herman that got Waveland in so much trouble with Tommy Longo and the lawsuits over the illegal rezoning of land?

Excuse Me-I wasn't replying to your Post.

I was making a comment on the article.I repeat.I am happy justice was done. Its not good for Mr.Johnson's sons seeing him getting away with so much.
It would be a terrible example if they chose to follow in their father's footsteps.
God Bless Mississippi Coast Police Dept.

Herman Johnson sold the developers the land and got the City of Waveland sued.WOW

I love the Ms.Coast.I love Waveland and Bay St.Louis.Pentecostal Territory..........they used to call it.Sounds like Satan's Playground now.

I'm not giving up on Hancock County Police Dept.I have Faith that the system will be restored.

Hancock County used to be famous for giving DWI's.Maybe they need to concentrate on whats going on within the System.

Yes, he sold the land and the city of Waveland got sued.

Word is there was a contigency about the buyer getting a building permit. Longo is said to have told Ron Calcagni to issue a letter approving the project.

The developer was then given problems by citizens who wanted to know how it wasn't approved by planning and zoning. They denied it upon review. Developer sued city and won a large award which got Longo unelected and almost threw Waveland into Bankruptcy. That is what I remember, if some of it isn't exactly perfect then my memory might not be what it used to be.

So since I didn't know Herman Johnson, I asked my question...

So they lowered his bond from 1 million to 250,000. Why?

Do you think the Sheriff's investigator Glenn Grannon is getting pressure from politicians?

They did WHAT? Only the judge can lower a bond!

The Judge doesn't see Herman Johnson as a flight risk, that is why the bond was reduced. I have serious doubts that this case will make it pass the grand jury

Almost all arrests make it past the Grand Jury. They waited a month to arrest him, which means they were getting their ducks in a row.

I wouldn't take this lightly, he is charged with murder and from what has been stated his own son admitted on 911 that his father had shot the man.

You are correct there Da Bay! I think ole Herman's days are numbered as a free man! All his dirt is about to come pouring out back onto him. I think he better start buying some soap on a rope. Karma Man....it's a wonderful thing!
