Well, not the line officers but the chief is a loser.
He plays politics on the people who pay him.
That would be us, the taxpayer.
He has said when any development comes in that we don't need added police just like our politicians told hime to say, IT'S A LIE!!!!!!!!!
Now we don't have enough police as required by law because he lied to us for them (the politicians).
This is so the developers who have hurt Antioch can continue to build by kicking back a litle something to whom????
School Bonds are the same thing.
Developers want to build houses with no commitment to schools so they over crowd ours then tax the existing residents till they feel sorry for the kids and vote a tax on themselves.
The neighborhood watch and all this blab they make about Antioch crime is to get you to tax your self to pay for what development has brought on.
Under measure 'C' taxes Antioch collects they agreed to not build if we did not have 1.4 officers per thounsand residents.
The criminals are the city council who make the chief sign off new homes with no tax for police or schools then send him running to us like Joe sh1t the rag man for more taxes.
ENOUGH DEVELOPER GIVE AWAYS!!!!
VOTE NO ON ALL SCHOOL BONDS.
Its a TAX to free up developers to build without restraint.
We have heard through the grape vine that if school bonds pass they will come after us for a new police and services tax and or a utility tax they planned for next election.

Can't blame the cops for wanting the back up they need or the wages but why do they let the council get away with allotting the officer positions in the budget and then not hiring them EVERY TIME!!!!

Something is wrong here. Why is it that the PD is allowing the council and developers to steal from taxpayers? How twisted is that?
Does the Antioch PD care about us who pay them?
We need a stand up chief who demands an honest source of pay for the department, not some yes man for corruption and shinnanigans like Gary Gilbert.
If we can't trust our own police then who can we trust? If the PD lets politics run the department then we are 3rd world.
What does this say about council member Kalinowski?
He's a cop and knows it is wrong to hit on current residents for the police on new development.
He seemed like an honest guy at first but now he is running with the slime.

Some cops are corrupt but not all. I don't know the Chief of this city. I'm not going to make that judgement. He might be a great guy for all I know.

Personally I have no reason to believe the chief is less than a nice guy.
He just won't stand up for what's honest.
When they build a house I want the police and he signs it off as no impact to us.
That ought to be a crime.
When you lie as a cop it sends a message to we the public that there is no law.
Granted, the chief is a nice guy...

They made our schools a mess and now they want more taxes.
I can't put what I'd like to put here but....
If you vote for this forget trying to sell a house here or getting someone to buy one...

I hope people vote no on all taxes and bonds for schools.
They lie so much it is not at all funny.
India has poor schools and their grades far exceed ours.
We didn't buy homes in this part of town because we wanted to pay the same bills as those buying new homes.
If old schools are not good enough then move there.
This was and is about new house construction getting more schools at our expense.
Vote no on these crippling school bond, they are to spur new apartment construction for the invaders.
