Why do my Section 8 neighbors get Section 8 anyway? Funny, they move on in to a nice 2 story home and have 7 or 8 little kids running around. The husband works the mom stays home. They have an older son who stays with themtoo. They have 3 cars , one of them is a Surburban , and they have a boat. They run there air conditioner whenever it is the least bit hot and well into the night. We on the other hand have 2 children ,both my husband and I work. We have 1 car and 1 truck, and yes we too have a boat. We on the other hand hardly ever run our air conditioner, maybe 1 or 2 times a summer. It plain cost too much. My question is this. When you are poor how can you afford a boat, a Surbanban , and run you A/C frequently? I think the answer is we pay for them to have all this. I believe this is where many problems exist with Section 8ers. They hold there hand out and want a handout not a helping hand. Oh sure there are those that do need a hand and do not abuse it. There needs to be something done to find out who is abusing it and put a stop to it or hard working people like myself will always vote against anything to do with Section 8.

Why you ask.... because we were raised to work for what we have.... and those on section 8 were taught to take everything they can get.

Whats fishy, JAntioch Jubilee is that we pay not only for ourselves but for all those that have three vehicles and a boat, run their AC more than I have run mine in the years I've lived here put together. The savings I get from not running my AC 24/7 I will save for my kids college fund, that way she can get an education, then a job and work like hell and pay for other Section 8ers.They on the other hand will raise their 7-9 kids to do what? Have a ton of kids, not be able to afford them and yes, qualify for the Section 8 handout. And so it goes round and round. Pull the Section 8 after a few months, let them sink or swim.

Blame Obama. He wants to tax the rich and middle class more so he can support his ACORN friends. The same ones who were caught filling out illegal registration forms to have Obama Elected. Notice the media has stop looking into that.

He will definitly make it worst, in fact yes he already has. He wants to redistribute wealth until the wealthy are not wealthy. His big plan is to destroy the people who earned there way and help all the free loaders,

So the Bankers can take away homes and place those working class into FEMA camps while the sale of their homes can go to pay for HuD.

i am blessed to have section eight during a time when things are so bad. i appreciate the fact that i have not had any problems my record is outstanding. everyone on section eight is not bad or taking advantage of the system. most people i talk to would die for section eight now.it was designed to help those who were deserving and needing. shame on the ones who take advantage of it. and to all the haters that most likely would love to be on it. listen to every situation before you judge. you might just find yourself needing it to. GOD BLESS

Many of us have stated not all on section 8 are bad. My mom was on it for a year. But they gave her a crappy studio apartment with 4 kids. What we're pissed off at is the 3rd generation Sec8s who teach their kids how to work the system and then bring in their cruddy friends to rob people in the neighborhood or let their kids bully who ever they want. Obviously not everyone on section 8 is bad. People just want some kind of system put in place to stop the abusers and there should be a way to keep the punks out who come from Richmond and Oakland to cause trouble out here.

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Capricorn

A certain person is strong-willed with the Full Moon in your emotional house of others. It's a lunar eclipse too, so this could lead to some ructions in which everyone becomes firmly entrenched in their own opinions and refuses to acknowledge anyone else's point of view. Get the arguments out of the way early on, so you can then concentrate on having a really enjoyable New Year's Eve.
