There has been no further building on the site, which has been dedicated to open space preservation.'Hope this info is helpful. Toni

OHHH yes!! SGI...what a place...we all got the floor in the front room shaking big time as we booped about to The Lynch Boys in the '70s!! I live around the corner now and at 54 I can still hear the echos of singing and laughter on a still hot summer night...yep... though the place is gone..the frivolity lives on!!! I don't wanna go home!!

remember the bamboo room- when i was 18 the drinking age was still 21 (it changed when i was 19) they would let you in as long as you could sign your name. one time i signed the wrong name and they still let me in-they would flash pictures on the wall in that room- so much fun

Who remembers the lines to the I don't want to go home song? Not the Asbury Jukes version. I used to go to see the Lynch Boys Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday. I think Tuesdays used to be the "Bleach Boys" night where they would dress up and hang plastic fish from the guitars and sing Beach Boys songs . Bobby Byrnes and the Brothers would also sing and perform on Friday and Saturday. Lots of Irish, traditional and Neil Diamond, Sweet Caroline(hands, touching hands, soo good soo good etc.) The song I can't remember the words to. Well I don't want to go home, I don't want to go home, were having too much fun (bullshit) I don't want to go home, I don't want to go home the party's just begun, Send the bartenders home send the... Thats where I get stuck, Thanks, Long Live the Lynch Boys

Oh yes, I remeber the Sea Girt Inn with a lot of fun memories during the early 70's. There was no better fun place to be on weekends from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Yes and I was one who never wanted to go home. Occasionally had a bouncer carry me down the ramp and deposit me in the parkng lot. There will never be another place as great.
