This woman wanted everyone to believe she was a champion of homeless people when in fact the opposite was true. I lived at the Cornerstone Mission for a year and a half and Dorothy Giffel was the nastiest, most mean-spirited woman I have ever known. She never missed a chance to belittle someone, scream at someone or otherwise make us feel like dirt. It's depressing enough to be homeless - one doesn't need someone like her making them feel even worse. She was a witch and now she's right where she belongs.

I AGREE WITH YOU TOTALLY DEBBIE. I ALSO LIVED THERE AND SHE WAS ROTTEN AND NASTY. SHE NEVER CARED ABOUT ANYTHING EXCEPT MONEY MONEY MONEY.

I didn't know Dorothy, and I've never been to the mission, so I don't know what she was like. but what I do know, is that you should be thankful each and everyday that you and your family had a place to go in a time of need. Something a lot of people don't have. Forget about Dorothy being nasty and mean, but always remember that God placed her here, to provide shelter, and help when people needed it the most.
