This woman wanted everyone to believe she was a champion of homeless people when in fact the opposite was true. I lived at the Cornerstone Mission for a year and a half and Dorothy Giffel was the nastiest, most mean-spirited woman I have ever known. She never missed a chance to belittle someone, scream at someone or otherwise make us feel like dirt. It's depressing enough to be homeless - one doesn't need someone like her making them feel even worse. She was a witch and now she's right where she belongs.

I didn't know Dorothy, and I've never been to the mission, so I don't know what she was like. but what I do know, is that you should be thankful each and everyday that you and your family had a place to go in a time of need. Something a lot of people don't have. Forget about Dorothy being nasty and mean, but always remember that God placed her here, to provide shelter, and help when people needed it the most.

I lived at Cornerstone Mission in 95-96 and I was sick with bronchitis and tonsilitis at the same time when I lived there and had an appointment to see the doctor and had asked her if I could please do my chores when I got back from my appointment with a doctors note to excuse me. Well she threw me and the person who showed me how to get to the doctor's office out on the street for one night in the middle of dead winter and wouldn't let us take our property with us. This was in the middle of dead winter and I was sick with bronchitis and tonosilits and if not for a friend who had just gotten an apartment I would have froze to death on the street or gotten pneumonia. So God will judge her for what she did and I forgive her now only God can judge her not us. Oh Tiffany I live in Conway, AR where you are so I will be glad to tell you what all she did to others while I lived there and it wasn't nice. I wound up going to a therapist and psychiatrist afterwards because of what she let the guys there get away with doing to me.

You have no idea what she was really like Tiffany unlike me. Trust me get in touch and I will be glad to tell you my end of what she did to me as well as others who lived there.

Seriously. If it was that bad why did you continue to stay there? You lived there for a year and a half? Sounds like she was trying to teach you to take care of yourselves so you could live on your own. It is unfortunate that of the hundreds of people she helped only a few negative ones are trying to bring her down.

Oh no John you have no idea the kind of woman she is there is a whole lot more that you don't even know she was money hungry, she only cared about herself and the ones close to her. She didn't deserve to run that mission, she was a no good, coniving witch and yes God will be punishing her she did do some nice things but that's about it. She was an evil woman the list is way too long to post on here.

Is this the same Mark I knew when I lived at the mission who gave me a place to stay when Dorothy threw me out on the street? If so email me at americanterrortwin @ yahoo.com . I would really love to hear from you if this is the Mark I am thinking of.
