It's in todays paper. The names listed in the paper were Billy Williams and Jason? Bennett. It happened in front of. Williams's house on Dorton.

I thought Williams lived on Bruner.

Just stating what the Jonesboro Sun said. Williams yelled at Bennett to slow down and Bennett stoppped and got out and grabbed a baseball bat from a 9 yr old kid and started beating Williams.

I'm sure there are two sides to this story tho.. The paper didn't say it was from a police report.... It said a 'Bay man claimed'...

That was from a police report: when it says a person claimed, it usually infers that the story was questionable. But, the informtion was from a police report.

From what I understand, the guy swung at Bennett first with a 2x4 and his kid came running up with the bat, that's when Bennett took the bat away from him....not saying its right, just saying there wsa more to it than the paper led on.
