I think he does a great job. Too much preparation goes into his show. Budro knows his stuff and I think he's entertaining. It's live radio. Mistakes will happen with anything live. I think Budro's show has been great for the area. He's doing a good job and I hope he keeps it up for many years to come. Big D, you really don't have much of a life if all you want to do is sit on a computer and try to bash a radio program. I'm really sorry that you have that much free time to sit around and do that, but more power to you. The comments you leave on topix aren't going to have an effect on the listeners of a radio program. But whatever makes you feel better big guy... :)

Man you're funny. Just because we listen doesn't mean you hear. Not everybody calls. I work in radio and unlike yourself, I know what it takes to put something together like a sports talk show. You would be amazed to actually know a fan base of a radio program like that. I'm glad you're keeping such a close tab on it though. I'm glad you picked up on the masculinity of my post. I'm impressed that someone from Little Rock could even spell a word like that. Don't forget which shoe each foot goes into, oh wait I forgot you probably don't believe in those. Hey dumbass, I know what the fan base is because I can read a ratings chart. The show has a 1% share of the listening audience in this area. If there are 60-70,000 people, then you do the math Einstein. Its less than 1,000 listeners. Now get back to work running the swap shop segment of a redneck radio station.

Every set of arbitron ratings released has shown the show with at best a 1% share. Its not hard to do the numbers from there.

Where do you pull the numbers from? Are you pulling them from Jonesboro City Limits? Or are you going for listener coverage area? A wise man once said statistics don't lie, but liars use statistics. 1% over a wide population is still a fairly large sized group for a local radio call in talk show. But what is really cool behind this whole idea, the thing that you don't seem to realize, the missing link to any radio program. You can have any number of listners out there, but if you can't sell advertising to your show, then there is no money. He may have 1 listener during the whole program, but if he's selling advertising for his program and the business is happy that they are generating revenue from his show. Both parties remain happy and there lies the key to radio. We own the radio in Kennett. You would fall out of your chair if you saw the money we draw in on our Cardinal Broadcast alone. We have over 30 businesses on a full year Cardinal contract to seal a spot for the next season. It's all about selling advertising. He could have 4 listeners and play german polka music but if he sells ads, he stays on the air. Bottom line. I'll get my own coffee damnit. Why don't you go get some for your boss. Good talk.
