whats the deal with the dog tags instead of trophies?you mean to tell me with us paying 45.00 a child to play and with every sponsor paying $200.00 a team this league cannot afford real trophies? where did this money go? who is over this decision. these children have worked all year for a piece of tin? whoever is over this decision should step down now because you dont understand children at all they worked for trophies.....step down now and maybe they wont investigate your bank account and see where this money went.

you are 100% right bax 1 they don't understand kids and how they became in charge of the league is beyond me them kids deserverd a whole lot more than what they got i guess the reason they got dog tags is because the ones that came up with that are dogs theirselves or pigs one i think they should be throwed out of the league for permanant and never allowed to come back

I completely agree. These dog tags are the stupidest substitute for a trophy I have ever seen. I myself would like to know where all that money went. These kids did work hard and deserve more that a cheap chain.

I was told from a league board member of the league last yr. that the league had $3,500.00 in the account to start out with. The #'s are not adding up. Ck. & see if this league is registered as a non profit organization. They have to be registered with the state and they have to have a tax #. They have to provide finacial statements if you want to see them. You are allowed to be at any board meeting they have. If they are not registered turn them in. They will be investigated and they will have to complie with the state. This is no laughing matter I believe all these leagues ought to be investigated. Too many people lining their pockets. If anyone is interested I can post all phone #'s and who you need to contact.

Mad a hell????
I was once mad as hell, about something - but I have never been mad a hell.....you must really pissed about something. Here's the deal...the board members work hard and all have real jobs in addition to volunteering their time so your kids and theirs have a place to play ball. They decide early in the season that I great way for the 10 of them to split a couple thousand dollars would be if they worked for about 200 hours apiece and split the money....its a great way to make about $1 an hour....these people really should be turned in...they are obviously crooks...the only way they could have made more money would be to set their home thermostat to72 degrees instead of 74 degrees.

Zeb Waller is the president of the T-ball and coaches pitch this year...his wife is suppose to be coaching a little girls softball team this year but never has practices for them or even calls them to let them know about pictures being cancelled... they really need to get someone over T-ball and coaches pitch that gives a damn...i feel they are the kind of people who would pocket some money if they could get away with it!!!!

I would like #'s. I had a child in t ball and it's the same thing someone's pocket is being lined and I think all parents have a right to the financial statements ! I know I paid $10 for a pair of pants from t ball that were a mile to big then went and bought the pants from sports house for $7.50 same place I was told the league gets them. Why should they make 2.50 off each pair of pants.

I agree with you all about the dog tags but if your that concerned about it, why not ask Zeb (if he is in charge) about it instead of complaining on this web site? He will answer your questions he is a nice guy.
Besides have any of you ever asked how much money the league has or how much they have spent? If not then I think you all need to stop accusing people of lining their pockets.
And also, how his wife coaches a softball team really has nothing to do with the way they run the coaches pitch.

If parents want to be informed than maybe they should ask questions before they sign their child up and hand over $40 to a league. Besides how do you know what a trophy is? You cant even spell the word trophy.

My understanding is that the league wanted to do something fun for the kids and they went with the dog tags so they could do that. They bought all day passes for every kid at Echo Valley this Friday and they are providing pizza for the whole family. When I asked my son which he would rather have a trophie or a baseball necklace and go the pool with your friends all day he said, "baseball tags and pool party!" Plus the parents that complain are usually the ones that don't help in the concession stands, sell cokes, or volunteer to clean up and work on the field.

ball mom you are welcome to keep sucking up to the board, a pizza party will be soon forgotten a trophy is something people save their entire life.
most parents work in concessions so dont feel like you have done anything. if you want to sale your kid out just to, make your dull life full, then thats on you, maybe soon you will make the board and you can sale all the other kids out also you idiot.
