Koch was the Libertarian Party's vice-presidential candidate in the 1980 presidential election, sharing the party ticket with presidential candidate Ed Clark. The ClarkĖKoch ticket promising to abolish Social Security, the Federal Reserve Board, welfare, minimum-wage laws, corporate taxes, all price supports and subsidies for agriculture and business, and U.S. Federal agencies including the SEC, EPA, ICC, FTC, OSHA, FBI, CIA, and DOE. The ticket received 921,128 votes, 1.06% of the total nationwide vote, the Libertarian Party national ticket's best showing to date. The Koch brothers were proud of what they had accomplished.ďCompared to what [the Libertarians had] gotten before,Ē Charles said,ďand where we were as a movement or as a political/ideological point of view, that was pretty remarkable, to get 1 percent of the vote.Ē
David Koch and Clark recieved 1% of the Vote, now where have I heard 1% before? Oh Yes, those are the wealthiest people in the USA. They don't NEED Social Security, Medicare, or Unemployment Insurance.
Paul Ryan was alreay a Multi-Millionaire when his wife inherited $5 Million Dollars a few months back.
Look Out Farmer John, they are coming after your farm subsidies too.
The Republican House of Representatives Put off bringing up the Farm Bill Until AFTER the Election.
I wonder why? House of Representatives Republican Majority Leader John Boehner has said there will be No discussion and no debates on the Farm Bill until AFTER the Election.
The GOP KNOWS that the Tea Party Congressmen are going to pitch a fit to defund and get rid of the Farm Bill. John Boehner does Not want the farmers to get upset Before the Election.
Get ready to watch the fireworks on the Farm Bill.

I always wondered WHY Republicans NEVER mention Republican President Eisenhower, so I decided to take a look at Eisenhower, who was a 5 Star General and the Supreme Commander of all the allied forces in Europe in WW2.
Lo and behold, I found out the GOP Hates Ike, and the feeling was mutual. Eisenhower Hated Republican Conservatives and DESPISED Right Wing Republicans.
Republican President Eisenhower wrote this letter in 1954.
the Eisenhower Presidential Papers: Document #1147
Eisenhower did NOT like Republican Conservatives and Eisenhower despised Republican Right Wingers.
Dwight D. Eisenhower warned that these people would destroy the Republican Party if they had their way and tried to Abolish Social Security and Unemployment Insurance under the Republican Party Banner.
Eisenhower is speaking about HL Hunt of Hunt Foods, and the Big Oil Koch Brother's Family, along with other Billionaires in the Third Paragraph.
Eisenhower calls them "Stupid" for trying to get rid of Social Security and Unemployment Insurance.
Eisenhower said the Republican Party would wind up in the dust bin of history if the GOP let these people try to get rid of Social Security and Unemployment Insurance under the Republican banner. Eisenhower called them a "negligible splinter group."
Ike would be astounded to see how they have grown in numbers and power since his day. Eisenhower called himself a Moderate Progressive Republican, and he fought hard to have the Republican Party follow what he called the "Middle Way."

More of what the Yankees Knew that you didn't Know.
Fred Koch was a Founding Member of the John Birch Society. Fred Koch is the Father of the Multi-Billionaire Koch Brothers. Fred Koch also served on the Board of the John Birch Society.
Fred Koch and several other Billionaires poured $ Millions of Dollars into the John Birch Society every year, for decades.
John Birch Society Members have joined the Republican Tea Party in droves.
These John Birch Society Members who hold dual memberships in both the John Birch Society and the Tea Party, are the most fanatical members of the Tea Party.
The John Birchers see a Communist behind every tree and bush, and they never met a Conspiracy Theory, that they didn't like.
The John Birch Society almost went under back in the late 1950's and 1960's when they lost numerous Defamation Lawsuits filed by prominent Americans that the John Birch Society wrongly identified as Communists.
Well, now they are back in force.
Did anyone ever ask Florida Tea Party Congressman Allen West if he belongs to the John Birch Society? He sees Communists everywhere. Tea Party Congressman Allen West was Defeated in the Election.
The John Birch Society wants the entire Franklin D. Roosevelt "New Deal" Programs, Labor Laws, and Policies Repealed.
The John Birch Society calls all of the "New Deal" Legislation, including Social Security, Medicare, and Unemployment Insurance Socialism, and the John Birch Society wants these programs abolished, along with the entire Roosevelt New Deal Legislation.
The John Birch Society calls Socialism, "Creeping Communism." And anything they call Socialism must be destroyed.
The movement to Abolish Social Security, Unemployment Insurance, Medicare, and all other Social Safety Net Programs did NOT start yesterday.
This has been going on for decades. The Eisenhower Papers Prove that fact, beyond the shadow of a doubt.

The John Birch Society Celebrates the Legacy of the Koch Family to the John Birch Society.
They don't like School Teachers or College Professors. They don't like, Union Labor or Labor Laws(you know, things like 40 Hour Work Weeks, Overtime Pay, Holidays off, Week-Ends off, or Child Labor Laws) and they don't like what they call Liberal Clergymen. See if you made their list.
They don't like City, County, State, or Federal Employees, they say to these people, "You need to go get a REAL Job."
But, they will happily take a Congressional Seat if you will elect them.

The Cato Institute, The Washington Post
Cato Support for Social Security Privatization
The Cato Institute has been a long-time advocate of Social Security privatization. A chief early architect of Cato's thinking on private accounts was Peter J. Ferrara. The Washington Post's Thomas Edsall wrote in February 2005: "The emergence of the center-right phalanx backing the Social Security proposal is a major victory for the Cato Institute, a prominent libertarian group. In the late 1970s and early 1980s, Cato was almost alone in its willingness to challenge the legitimacy of the existing Social Security system, a politically sacrosanct retirement program. Recognizing the wariness of other conservatives to tackle Social Security, Cato in 1983 published an article calling for privatization of the system. The article argued that companies that stand to profit from privatization --'the banks, insurance companies and other institutions that will gain'-- had to be brought into alliance. Second, the article called for initiation of 'guerrilla warfare against both the current Social Security system and the coalition that supports it.'"
By early 2005, business groups such as the Business Roundtable and the National Association of Manufacturers and political groups like Progress for America were devoting millions of dollars to the campaign to get rid of the existing Social Security program. It is worth noting that the website SocialSecurity.org is run by the Cato Institute, under the heading Project on Social Security Choice.
The Cato Institute is devising a plan to use the Privatization of Social Security as a step toward the abolition of Social Security. This tactic avoids the inevitable nasty confrontation that a Frontal Attack on Social Security would produce.
Guess who is, and has been, donating more than half of the operating money to the Cato Institute?
Guess who serves on the Board of the Cato Institute?
Guess who Founded and Bankrolled the Cato Intitute?
Answer: The Multi-Billionaire Koch Brothers who want Social Security Abolished.
Always follow the money $. No big surprise here.
Now ain't that a Shocker? They want to Privatize, which diverts and drains money out of these funds, and, then Abolish Social Security and Medicare.
Judging from the Long history of the Koch Family Hating Social Security, Unemployment Insurance, Medicare, and the entire Roosevelt "New Deal Legislation" it all makes sense.

With billions of dollars at stake, a large network of influential conservative groups is mounting a high-priced campaign to help the White House win passage of legislation to partially privatize Social Security and limit class-action lawsuits.
Corporate America, the financial services industry, conservative think tanks, much of the Washington trade association community, the Republican Party and GOP lobbyists and consultants are prepared to spend $200 million or more to influence the outcome of two of the toughest legislative fights in recent memory.
Changing the way Social Security pays out benefits, as President Bush wants to do, is central to the extensive, multimillion-dollar conservative effort.(Bradley C. Bower -- AP)
Many of these same interest groups backed Bush administration tax cuts, the 2003 Medicare prescription drug legislation and proposed energy initiatives. As President Bush begins his second term, the alliance has become an institutional fixture, providing both money and manpower to further the Bush agenda and strengthen the Republican Party apparatus.
Dang! These boys have some real horsepower, and Hundreds of Billions of dollars to buy whatever and whoever they want.
The Koch Brothers are the Wizard of OZ behind the curtain.

Paul Ryan's Speech aand the transcript was released by the "Atlas Society."
Mitt Romney's Vice-Presidential pick Paul Ryan has been on the payroll of the Koch Brothers for many years now.
Paul Ryan gets his so-called wonkish new economic ideas straight from the pages of Fiction Novels written by his Messiah Ayn Rand. Paul Ryan is obsessed with Ayn Rand.
This is Part of Paul Ryan's speech before the Atlas Society, a group of the Atheist Ayn Rand followers. The 64 page John Galt Speech that Paul Ryan refes to here is found in the Atheist Author Ayn Rand's book, "Atlas Shrugged." The Atlas Society is named after Ayn Rand's Book "Atlas Shrugged."
Paul Ryan speaking;
Itís so important that we go back to our roots to look at Ayn Randís vision, her writings, to see what our girding, under-grounding [sic] principles are. I always go back to, you know, Francisco díAnconiaís speech (at Bill Taggartís wedding) on money when I think about monetary policy. And then I go to the 64-page John Galt speech, you know, on the radio at the end, and go back to a lot of other things that she did, to try and make sure that I can check my premises so that I know that what Iím believing and doing and advancing are square with the key principles of individualism.
(3:53) But when you look at the fight that weíre in here in Capital Hill, itís a tough fight. Itís a very important fight. But we need more people on our side to fight this fight. That is why there is no more fight that is more obvious between the differences of these two conflicts than Social Security.
Social Security right now is a collectivist system, itís a welfare transfer system.
Itís a system where, and I always tell my constituents, and none of them usually believe me, you donít have an account with your name on it in the Federal Government. There isnít a box with your cash in it thatís going to come to you when you retire. A lot of people think that.
And whatís important is if we actually accomplish this goal of personalizing social security [Ryan laughs. Ed Hudgins overheard interjecting,ďpersonalizingĒ and laughs along with Ryan, who repeats] personalizing social security [laughter, applause] think of what we will accomplish.
These are the actual words of Paul Ryan speaking and laughing about Privatizing Social Security.
For those of you who don't know, their Messiah, Ayn Rand Hated Social Security and wanted it Abolished.
Ayn Rand said, "Social Security and Unemployment Insurance are Hammocks that the people relax in, and these programs encourage laziness and a reluctance to work in the people, and should be abolished."
That is why they are laughing about "Privatizing Social Security," which for them, is a merely a step toward draining away funds and killing the Social Security Program and Abolishing it. The Atlas Society is a group of rich folks who don't need or want Social Security, Medicare, Unemployment Insurance, or any other Social Safety Net Program. They want ALL of these programs abolished so they don't have to pay taxes for any of it.
Paul Ryan is a Multi- Millionaire. If you are NOT a Millionaire, you have No business in the Tea Party. Paul Ryan's wife inherited 5 Million Dollars a few months ago.
